Exactly what you expect. Small and powerful. Love it

It was easy to set up, appears to be working as it should, is not bulky and the price was reasonable. I have a similar model purchased a few years ago and it's also still doing fine.

This Passport 2TB external hard drive is easy to use, reliable and has plenty of storage space. A good value for the price paid.

Exactly as described. I replaced an older hard drive. The small, lightweight Passport is convenient to carry, and ease of use allows me to download pics and files more often. I appreciate the ability to store less data on my primary laptop. I would have given 5 stars but I found the same item for a lower price on walmart's site. BB refused to match the price.

So glad I purchased this little device! Much smaller in size than I imagined. Very easy to set up and access on demand. It will hold MUCH MUCH more than I will ever use - but that's OK. Took a lot off the cloud - so quickly and easily!! Very pleased with this purchase - as I usually am when I buy from Best Buy !!

Needed more memory for my PS4 since I was having to erase a lot of downloaded games. This 2TB hard drive was a great deal and easy to plug in and use for my PS4. Now I can have a lot of my downloaded games ready to play. I do recommend this hard drive.

It's great for storing all those files you don't need to often but don't want to delete. Plenty space, great price. Just be careful not to drop it or shake it to much, files can get corrupted. But with normal use it's pretty good and It should last for a good while.

WD external hard drives are always great. The one I got was 2TB and it’s slim and perfect for travel. Only caveat is that the WD software won’t install. I even tried to download it directly from the website with no luck. -1 star for not being able to download the program for data recovery.

Sturdy, cheap, PS5 compatible, what more really needs to be said? Needed extra space for PS4 based games on my PS5 and this fit the bill. Can’t install PS5 games to it, due to PS5 restrictions, which I expected. Will add second internal SSD drive when Sony unlocks the second back waiting to be utilized.

I have had several WD My Passports and they are easy to use and seem to work great (except for the lemon Ultra I got that I swapped out for this). I am able to download all of my action camera and other photos from my laptop and free up significant space on my computer. No need to get a huge expensive hard drive on my computer, these do the same job and are also a safer option to store my content and to move to another computer when/if needed.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He has an XBOX1 and was not able to add a new game due to memory space, This was the perfect alternative to upgrading our system. It's small and hooks up easily and has created an opportunity to load and store more games. Very happy with its cost and usefulness.

Great price! Very easy to use. Perfect for storing documents and pictures and very reliable. Have two of them and will get couple more.

Is large enough to store all my personal documents so I don't have to have an extra PC, and can just attach to my work computer. It saved me hundreds of dollars and I'm able to easily just travel with it....as it's small enough to slide into my laptop bag. Plenty of storage and no corruption or issues to date! 3.7.20

The disk was easy to install on my Mac - The time machine found it or vice versa and asked if I wanted to use for backup and installed in seconds. Very small and unobtrusive but have the comfort of knowing the computer is being backed up. Very inexpensive with more than ample space for backups.

It's so small and inexpensive when it's on sale. WD warrants it a few years. And they are reliable. If you want to save backup cloud cost and have lots of data to protect then this is good solution.

This is the first external hard drive I've ever had, and I have no complaints about it. I haven't done any rigorous testing or anything like that, as I am a pretty casual PC person. I've never encountered any problems. It offered me about 1.81 TB of storage, and no complaints about speed really. Still holding up fine after almost two years. Doesn't seem to get too hot, although it can heat up. This feels like a sturdy product, but I try to be pretty careful with it as it is still mechanical. Seems fine so far despite maybe one or two drops from about 3 feet off the ground or so and some occasional transport in my backpack.

I bought this for my gaming laptop and it has worked great for me. I love the storage size of this hard drive.

This is the third WD-My Passport I've had over the last 10+ years. The others are still working, but I like to replace them periodically, as my primary backup, just in case. They keep working, so I stick with the same brand. I found the WD Backup software to be a little more flexible for setting up than the WD Smartware from my prior drive, but it provides less information during the backup, so am overall less satisfied with the newer software. It did take me three tries to install the WD Backup software. The other utilities that came with the drive installed with no problem.

Small but mighty. I used this portable drive to hold all my download music collection and movies in which i've collected over time. This device can be plugged into smart tv's and used as if you are on a computer. Excellent for the price .
