2TB is a crazy amount of storage, so I don't have to worry about the remaining memory left even after transferring videos, clips, pictures, audio files, editing reels, and etc into this surprisingly lightweight & slim drive. This drive automatically registers through Mac's Timemachine app once connected, so the instant-read and back-up features are extremely convenient. WD makes so many portable hard drives, each with various max storage space so it's well-curated for those looking for something small like a 1TB, ranging up to 4TB (once you hit 8TB and higher, it becomes a block and I personally don't think renders 'portable'). Great product at an incredible price!

Purchased to use to expand the Xbox storage. A lot of space for a small device and works great! Kids can add all their games on it and play without having to uninstall and reinstall like before.

This "WD-My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0" is a great external hard drive, very compact and great for transferring large files and freeing up space from you Desk Top or other to an external drive that can be immediately accessed. In my case I transferred large video and scenery files to this device and ultimately freed-up over 22 GB of space on my hard drive. Its a great drive for downloading pictures and videos from your cell phone or computer to this device where you can keep important pics and videos! Easy to install and comes with AUTO-Back-Up Software to keep your documents safe and secure. you have my VOTE! on this.

Very useful, portable, great size, and affordable & easy to use

Very quiet and easy to use. It is very thin and easily able to conceal in personal belongings when traveling. The storage is space is plentiful.

Great for storing all files, documents and pictures. Small and sleek. Easy to bring with lap top wherever you go.

Works great! Very impressed by the potential transfer speed of 6 GBPS, though real world results are always lower. Even on a mid range laptop however I was achieving 200-300 MBPS on average. When plugged into my phone transfer speed shot up to 1.2 GBPS so that was great as well. Love the storage and the price is right for such a large portable storage. The one drawback is the fractured and at times redundant WD drive software(s). There are multiple programs to install and manage your drive. it would be much easier to include everything in one program. They are moving in that direction with the new EdgeRover software- that's a must try if you have multiple storage modes and means and things are... less than perfectly organized.

I already owned a WD Passport but I needed a new one with a lot more storage capacity. I have found the WD Passports very easy to use and have been very reliable.

The storage is huge compared to how small it is (even smaller than the size of my palm). Plus, it's so light, unlike my old Transcend hard drive....

Most inexpensive option for getting terabytes of storage in a small form factor. I bought this for data storage with a new Mac Mini I configured as a home server for music and photos. The Mini had a small internal SSD so I went with this to get plenty of data storage. My Itunes and iphoto media reside in it. I really like the USB 3 port because it matches the USB3 on the mini and gets me maximum bandwidth for fast access. So easy to set up. Just format with Disk Utility, then instant up and running. No special drivers required! Very happy, would easily buy again.

This product is so nice I bought one prior and this is the second one that I'm buying . They have saved my life when it comes to storage this is awesome it helped me get rid of a lot of personal pictures and files. It is easy to use lightweight and it's compatible with all my devices. If you looking for a product to help put your personal files this is a great drive

Easy set up with no issues, I have an older model I have been using consistently for many years. It is compatible with your consoles (PS4 and PS5), I recommend using it to download any PS4 purchases to maintain open space for PS5 games.
