It’s a good hard drive easy to use good quality the cord could of prolly been made more sterdier

portable and decent incapacity (2TB). this one has a spinning disc. Not SSD. I prefer the Solid State but the price is hard to beat on this older style. For me, 2TB in a fully portable device that is powered by the USB cord is as big as I go. I have seen 4TB but that is a lot of juice and momentum for a USB powered drive. These are great but don't let the cat knock them onto the floor.

Wanted more hard drive space on my new computer. This drive gives 2TB of space at a good price.

Purchased this WD my passport as a back up for my other WD external hard drive. I always trust WD products on their reliability. I love having this as my partner on repairing computers as this is more handy as it is more slimmer than my old one. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

We needed an external hard drive for our old Wii. This lets us put nearly every GameCube and Wii game made on one little storage device. It was recognized immediately by windows and the Wii, and tucks away behind the game console. Going to buy a couple more for the XBox and PlayStation.

I bought this item and thankfully its not terribly expensive for the price and the space. It has plently of storage for my PS4 to which i dont play alot of games so for someone like me it is plenty. I also bought this brand because of my experience with another external hard drive i already own from WD.

The price was the best that I found, the staff helped me to decide what was better for me and the quality is very good.

This is the first external hard drive I've ever had, and I have no complaints about it. I haven't done any rigorous testing or anything like that, as I am a pretty casual PC person. I've never encountered any problems. It offered me about 1.81 TB of storage, and no complaints about speed really. Still holding up fine after almost two years. Doesn't seem to get too hot, although it can heat up. This feels like a sturdy product, but I try to be pretty careful with it as it is still mechanical. Seems fine so far despite maybe one or two drops from about 3 feet off the ground or so and some occasional transport in my backpack.

Really helpful, no need to plug in a power cord. I sold my old 2TB passport that used a power-cord and bought this one. I use it for school and personal movies and T.V shows like The office. Would buy another one in a heartbeat but with more storage.

Very easy to use external hard drive. Could not be much simpler, and is reliable and easy to transport. Slim, light and easy to keep in my backpack when large files or a general backup are needed. It is a great back-up for my work computer.

This does exactly what it needs to. Great amount of storage, easy to set up and use, and event lets you protect it with a password.

Easy to use and lots of room for backups . I ordered this so I could back up all my files for transferring to my new computer. I will continue to use for backups as a way to preserve my files. It’s small and compact so easy to store in a safe or drawer.

This storage device is awesome I put 2 whole computer worth of data on it and still have room for for two more plus my phone. it is light weight and sleeke I take it everywhere. I can plug it into any computer and I have all my files and uploads.

Great size to use as backup storage space. Thin and easily transportable. Store it in my laptop case so I have it any time I want to run a backup or get a file stored on it. This is my personal Passport. I had one issued for work and loved its portability.

This external hard drive was really super easy to install and use. My son needed it to get additional storage capacity for this HP laptop. I gave it to him and he installed it and was using it within 10 minutes! I highly recommend this hard drive!
