Great little hard drive. Working well so far with my Macbook Pro as a bootable external Windows drive. Was able to format it and get everything installed with no issue. Size-wise, it is a bit smaller than my phone and just as thin.

I purchased this to use as picture backup and for file transfers (mainly pictures and videos). It moves data fast enough for me. Easy to move around or take with you do to this products size.

It stores a lot of information and when I move my computer when it's plugged in, it doesn't suddenly remove itself from the computer like my last device kept doing.

Seems to work pretty well. No problems so far, though if you have a lot of memory used up on your computer it won't back it up automatically on the external drive & you have to manually drag files onto it.

The hard drive is durable. Storage capacity give peace of mind that everything can be saved.

I had to take my PC in for several viruses, I had a lot of data to backup. My Geek Squad agent Shannon ran a diagnostic scan to see what size external drive I needed to backup my data. I chose a 2 TB, all I had to do was plug it in when they finished cleaning up my PC.

I was in a hurry and normally I only buy LaCie brand hard drives, but I got this and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. It is solid and dependable. I picked it up for a family member who is technophobic. Ports are strong and it isn't too heavy. Perfect for backing up on the go.

This external drive is great for storing your photos, music, and document files. This is handy if you just need to a backup, or moving to new computer. One complaint, I thought this would more like a flash drive, where I could easily plug n’ play between PC & Mac. That is not the case. I had to download a program from WD (Western Digital) to use with both computers types (yes I know the box says PC or it says Mac).

I bought this as a gift for a co-worker for his using it for backing up laptop. So far, he's pleased with it. WD has really good drives and they've been around for years and I trust them whole-heartedly. I myself have all WD hard drives for backup and storage.

This has been a great product. I purchased it in order to rip all of my old CDs and keep the music in one place.

This is a boat load of memory storage, for a very affordable price. You don't want to load up your computers on board hard drive with everything. It will slow it way down, so this is the solution for stuff that you have to saved, without affecting your PC.

I had purchased a 2tb hard drive 5 years ago. It was thin and light. This WD hard drive is even thinner and lighter. I couldn’t believe it was a hard drive and not an SSD. It works great not as fast as an SSD but I only use it for mass storage.

Works great, easy install and set up just plug in and go basically. I use it for extra games and seems to be working just fine

Plugged it in to my Lenovo Laptop. It was immediately recognized as a new device. I did not have to download any drive software. I used Windows 10 File History Option to back up my files. It was considerably faster than using flash drives, although I thought it might be just a little bit faster than it was. Other than that, I am pleased with this external drive.

I love this thing! I have it in my glove box and connected to my head unit in my truck. It has all my music and hundreds of movies on it for my kids during road trips. No issues at all!
