Was able to back up my computer and have room left for storage, easy to set up, easier to use!

I needed to make a backup of one of my kids' PCs so we could perform a fresh install of Windows 11. I was planning on buying Acronis software to handle the imaging. However, this drive came with the software we needed. So, it saved me some $$.

This Hard Drive is Great! We've been running it now for just over a month on our Dish Network DVR and it is wonderful! It was simple to format and has gone without a hitch since.. I am glad we talked to a Dish Tech first, who informed us that we couldn't run anything larger than a 2TB on the Dish Hopper 3. Then the Best Buy sales person really helped steer us to this hard drive. So, nice to have it all go so well!

Great drive, I have been using mine for a while now, I also really enjoy the disutility aspect of W D. I definitely need reliable drives as a professional photographer/videographer.

Both Western digital and Seagate make excellent hard drives. Can't go wrong for sturdiness and reliability. Being a programmer 30 years ago, and running my own national website, I have been using these since they first came out, Dropped them half a dozen times and like Timex watches... well this one is no exception. I back up all my data on them. You can buy this with confidence. If you wan't faster transfer, get a SSD.
