    My first external. I have a Macbook Air and I was able to make the drive compatible with minimal effort. I moved a bunch of files and backed up my drive with time machine.

    I purchased a drive on Amazon that turned out to be junk, it didn’t work. So I ran down to Best Buy and picked this drive up. It cost a little more but it was from a reliable maker with more features. I wish I had gone to Best Buy to start with, because I know I would get a better product there.
