Super fast, portable and holds a ton of data. Not sure what more you could want from what's described.

Essentially the Western Digital is a reliable and easy to use external backup storage device.. USB 3.0 is sufficiently fast to allow a complete backup image in a reasonable time. leaving it hooked up, it automatically replaces the image. This is good protection against internal Hard drive failure. I recently had to replace and clone a HDD. The process worked well and the image being recent, made for minimal work on my part.

This has been a life saver for me do to a computer crash. I got this for my photo storage it had enough room and then some I was able to download 48K photos before the crash :-)

I’m absolutely happy that I made this purchase for my ps4. I have about 6 games already downloaded on to this hard drive and I still have so much space. It’s perfect I promise.

I bought this purely for my Xbox because i needed more memory i just plugged it in turned the Xbox off and on and it reformatted and runs so much better than it has in a while.

Security experts recommend having more than one copy of important computer files and data. By using this as one external harddrive, it is easy to rotate through each subsequent back-up on a different external drive. And, it is convenient that Western Digital offers them in different colors. The color coding facilitates the rotation through back-ups, and by sticking with one brand, the ease of use is better.

My old laptop is okd but runs very well. The hard drive is nearly full, and I needed more room. I was heading to a dissertation seminar in VA (from IL). It struck me that I needed more room so I stopped a Best Buy and bought this little pocket sized gadget that extended the value of my very old system. Easy to use takes up no room and there is plenty of space for my Journal articles and dissertation.

I bought this because I record my gaming sessions and it's not good to record to the same hard drive you're gaming on. Now I can record straight to this drive with no drop off in performance. It's fast enough to handle it and quick to access. I also store my edited videos on it which saves a lot of space on my pc hard drive. Since I don't use it for anything else the automatic sleep mode is handy.

I'm afraid my laptop is going to die in me any day now so I went out and bought this HD. I backed up my entire laptop in a matter of a handful of hours. Works nice.

I bought this product specifically for the PS4. I had read last month that Sony was releasing a update that aloud you the ability to store games and not just saves on a external drive. As so this news dropped I ordered this bad boy. its sleek exterior and light almost match the PS4 in a way. so naturally it looks great next to it. when plugged in. This drive is fast and easy to set up and performs wonderfully.

The My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive is fast and easy to use. It is physically slightly bigger than the 1TB version, but that is not an issue.

Purchased as a add on memory for Xbox One and it works perfect. Seems quicker than the original memory that came with the console. Highly recommend this product.

I’ve had several external hard drives. This guy is pretty big. I do like the textured half of it. Looks tough. As for storage, it does hold a bunch of mp4 files.
