I have been using this drive for a month now and the speed isn’t world class, but it works perfectly for storing important files like my photography portfolio and any graphic design elements I want to keep for future use, I have been using WD drives without any failing for at least 8 years now. Great product!

Very small considering the storage size. I like this external as it does not need to be connected to Power separately, just a USB and you are set. High capacity, small size for a good price.

Got this for my ps5 to have all my ps4 games on and still be able to play them without having to delete and redownload games that i might want to play. Very easy to use, just plug it up and format then, download the games and good to go. You can your ps4 games right off of the drive and never use up your ps5 space.

I bought this for my PS4 to install my games on it. It worked exactly how you would want it to. The cool thing is, when I got a PS5 for my son, I plugged this in and it read all of my games without issue. You can put PS5 games on here if you don't want to delete and re-download, but you can't play PS5 games off of it (not the drive's fault, PS5 just needs direct access which is a new feature only on nvme pcie gen 4 drives), but PS4 games work perfectly. 10/10 would buy again.

A solid compact large capacity storage solution built by a reliable name in the hard drive industry. Speed is no where near solid state drives but its shames them in capacity. I have always been a fan of western Digital drive and will continue to use them. they are shock resistant (believe me I know, I'm pretty clumsy) and I rarely have any bad sectors on their drive even after years of use. Probably should have bought the 5GB drive for a few dollars more but 4GB is more than enough capacity for my needs at this time and I saved a few bucks. You can't go wrong with Western Digital drives!

This external hard drive was easy to format and set up with instructions provided. I set My Passport up on my MacBook Pro with Time Machine with no complications, and I keep it connected via USB so it constantly backs up when my laptop is in use. The price was excellent on sale and well worth the investment. I would recommend and purchase this item again.

Love the size of storage in a compact unit. It cam backup every file I ever produce and probably hundreds of movies. I haven't tapped it storage limit yet. Easy to use. On sale, it was a pretty good price.

This hard drive is working perfectly for storing data. The price was fair for a portable unit and the transfer cord is short which makes it easy to fit in pocket if necessary.

Imma be honest, only reason why I got this one aside from other brands was bc of the password protection. As far as I can tell it’s been working well & has plenty of storage for the games Ive been playing on my PC. Pretty easy to install.

I use this hard drive exclusively for storing games for my Xbox Series X. It has been great so far. It can play games (Xbox One and earlier) straight from the hard drive. The few times I have played this way, I have had no issues and gameplay was great, however I do not do this very often. Overall, solid hard drive for the price!

Other reviews were correct, that this is great as an external hard drive for PS4. Just plug in and use. I plugged it in, and it asked if I wanted it to format it for PS4 use. Just click yes and it's done. All of the Call of Duty games and updates are so big, that I keep saying it's like being in a real possessive relationship. When you have have those games on your hard drive, you can't have any other games since they take up all the space and time. This external hard drive feels like I got my PS4 back with all of the old games I was able to reload. Also just takes pressure off the system since I was always maxed on data usage.

Easy to use and more security and very versatile product to keep the storages easy

Nothing beats the value that WD provided with these external drives! Just know it's a HDD using USB 3.0, so you're not going to get blazing fast read/write speeds. But for pure space to backup your files, it's hard to beat the price. I own several of these over a number of years and have not had a problem with the actual drive itself. Highly recommend for anyone on a budget.

Bought this for my PS5. This thing is perfect for that. I plugged it in and it formatted quickly. 4TB is nice to store PS4 games or throwing the occasional PS5 game on it. Super simple to use and a great price point.
