The external drive is great. I thought the project that I purchased for would consume the device but it has loads of storage and is small enough to easily travel with.

I have three of the Passport externals and really like them. I love the small size. They come in a variety of capacities. They are the best value in my opinion for an affordable external storage method.

The Western Digital External 4TB Hard Drive came unformatted and was not recognized by the Western Digital apps such as Utilities and Security. Disk Management showed that the device just had Raw Data. Had to go online to find out right parameters to properly format the drive and put a file system on it. On the Western Digital website, it said that the external drives are suppose to be formatted. Also, my previous drives alway came with recent versions of the apps, but this one didn’t. Price was good, and drive works after I formatted it.

Works as expected. Could not get better. Its fast.

I was looking for 6tb's or higher in the store but it wasn't available. I got the 4TB and I'm satisfied. I use it for my ps4 and setup is pretty fast and self explanatory. Less that a minute to setup.

Got this for an amazing price for the amount of storage. Works smoothly and only needs to be plugged into the computer (not an outlet too).

Good value. 4TB is a lot of storage space. Easy to use. Plugged in the USB and the drive was recognized immediately.
