I got this for my mother so she could back up her photos and everything else on her iMac. It worked perfectly with Time Machine. Easy to use. Seems pretty solid. Fast. I recommend it.

I am a youtuber and need more space on my computer to be able to upload content. This is the best thing I could have ever bought. I have had no issues, and it was easy to install and start using.

It works well and it hasn’t given me any problems compared to my prior External Storage

I just started using this drive so I don't know how it will hold up in the long run but it has been great so far. It is nice to have 4TB of storage in such a small and portable package. I only wish that the casing was aluminum. That is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. But for costing just over $100 for a 4TB drive you really can't go wrong.

Works great! Need the extra storage for photography. Especially shooting images in raw. The space fills up quickly!

Large capacity and small size make this a great home backup for our Apple stuff. We use it with Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner.

split it into two volumes for use with my Mac with Macs disk utility- half for time machine backup of the internal drive and half for the music library. Foolproof. Runs great. We’ll see about long term reliability but good so far.

Excellent! Easy to use with Macs. I thought 4TB would be slowed down, but surprisingly FAST UPLOAD photos, videos, docs, files. I use with MacBook Pro for work with photo and video editing.

Very easy to use and setup, stores a lot of stuff and is compatible with everything it feels like. If you need to store a lot of photos or videos this is the item for you.

My original external hard drive was failing and my best friend recommended this one to replace it. I LOVE IT! It's super easy to use and the price is great!

Only buying a new WD external HD because I’ve filled my other ones. I’ve been very happy with these in general for storing photos & videos. I would have lost all my photos due to a computer crash. Now I make it a habit to back them up here right away. As for video I put all of them on this before I edit so not to slow down my computer. You do have to be gentle with them ( or keep in a padded case or draw when your not using). I have a Mac and found directions for formatting for Mac online really easy.

This drive has become my lifeline when is comes to storing all of the stuff I need for my business. I am able to plug into any computer, have everything I need, and get to work.

It works perfectly and is easy to use. I never use the software and don't use it to 'back up'. i always have two and manually copy items to both. It does what i need well.
