    I bought this device for use on my iMac as a high-speed backup for Time Machine. It works perfectly for regular and ad-hoc backup requirements. I recommend it.

    It's one of the very few if not the only one native USB-C external drive available. It also comes with USB-C to USB-A adapter if computer doesn't have the USB-C. It performs well.

    The newer style of USB connector really makes a difference. The previous USB connector would cause the device to become disconnected if you bumped it a bit. So this is a step up.

    This external drive is extremely easy to use, fast and more than I'll need for Data and picture storage. I loaded 2 computers HD's and downloaded over 9000 pictures. WELL worth the price paid.
