I originally had reservations about purchasing this product because of the bad reviews. However, after downloading the software, I was relieved that all went well. The directions given for this procedure are not well written, but I have used this product for many years now and loaded the software as before. That being: 1. Open the Webroot program/ 2. In the window find “My Account” lower right/ 2. then click the “Gear Icon” to the right of My Account/ 3. Type the “New “Keycode” in the box provided/ 3. Then click on the “Activate box.” If this is a renewed product, a new window appear that will transfer any unused time to the new account numbers. I did receive my full two-year subscription along with the unused time I had left on the old subscription. Based on the many bad reviews for this product, mostly about install, a more simplified install direction be in order. The product has been excellent during my past many years of using it.

Easy to install initially. It doesn’t seem to slow down my system like AVG. It does provide warning for the suspicious email attachments. Good program.

Just downloaded this onto a Lenovo laptop. Downloaded easily and so far it has been working well. The software runs through its paces at least once a day.

If you've ever worried about a nasty cyber virus infiltrating your computer then look no further. This webfoot is as good as any antivirus software I've used in the past. No more nights of waking up in cold sweats due to the fear of someone rerouting all my encryptions or dropping a worm in my backdoor to hack my mainframe. Now if I wake up at night with wet sheets it's usually because I had 1 too many Pepsis before bed. If you don't have any antivirus software installed and you're worried your data could be compromised then you've already lost the cyber war. The only thing I trust more than this software in the war against cyber threats is Neo.

I would have not considered Webroot if I didn't get it with the computer I recently purchased. Pro - It didn’t cause any slowdown on my computers during deep virus scans, so I happily recommend Webroot’s Internet Security + Antivirus. Con - Webroot requires you to first enable browser extensions in either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to warn you about dangerous websites.

I've used Webroot in the past, but canceled my subscription after the rates increased. I'm currently using Webroot for my new MacBook, which was bundled with a free 6-month subscription; I'm considering renewing the subscription at the end of these 6 months, given my previous experiences with this software. Overall, I highly recommend this antivirus and internet security software. When I lived oversees, I had Webroot installed in all my devices; the software prevented numerous attacks. Using it now with a new MacBook adds another layer of security for me. I like how Webroot verifies websites before you visit them, so when you're browsing Google search results, Webroot will tell you how secure each page is. It will also prevent sites from automatically downloading software onto your computer (without your consent). Another great quality about Webroot is that it's not intrusive like other budget software. What I mean is, Webroot won't backdoor install programs on your computer, replace your browser, or insert itself like Malware into your system--all of these have happened to me at some point when using inexpensive security. But Webroot is pretty fairly priced given the amount of protection and the ease of use and comfort it provides. If you're willing to pay the subscription rates, then you're guaranteed to have a secure, user-friendly, non-intrustive experience.

Easy to use. I do feel protected. I canceled the other service when I got this subscription. I use it on my phone, iPad and PC.
