If you do a lot of surfing and browsing, install for peace of mind. I in general hate the subscription model, but what can you do — this is what all necessary services are like now — subscription based.

Webroot doesn't disappoint. It's not nearly as glamorous as the competition but it also does not have the same bloaty feeling. Overall a tolerable alternative.
