My opinion of this machine , is that it is a good machine for basic tasks, surfing the net, playing PC games that don't require a lot of video processing power, but I like the fact that it has 8GB of RAM and it streams video nicely. Depending on your needs this is good replacement for an aging system, which is why I was in the market for this one.

I received this free for buying a laptop. It was easy to install. My favorite thing about it is that it stays in the background. I'm not annoyed with notifications popping up in the corner of my screen. It does what it's supposed to do. Gave it four stars instead of three because I got he full one year for free instead of just 3 or 6 months

I have used Webroot in the past and it was pretty effective. However, I did not install it on this machine. It does not have a firewall as comparable to Norton's Internet Security with Back Up which I use. This replaces Norton's 360 which has always blocked attacks and/or notified me of suspicious and/or malicious actions from a website. For it to be 100% effective it needs to be running in the background. I do not like to have two major virus soft wares running together. I have experienced issues in the past and both programs running constantly slow down the machine. The reason I only gave it a 3 is due to my past experiences. But if you intend to run just that it would probably be OK and I would then give it a higher score. In addition to Norton's, I run CCleaner, Super Antispyware, and Spybot search and Destroy which are all FREE programs. They can be turned on and off manually which prevents conflicts with Norton's and still gives me additional protection.

We chose this virus protection on the advice of the sales person that was helping us. So far it is great and has done its job.

The product works well for my computer. I would buy again!

Webroot scans your system extremely fast. Received it free when I purchased it. I plan on using Webroot on all my systems.

Had this installed after downloading Google Chrome which resulted in several hundred viruses. No issue since. Thanks Webroot!

I have used several different antivirus programs. This is top notch, I have not had any problems with this program at all.

An easy to use program. Very responsive in taking action. Silent otherwise. Very little pop-up interference has been noticed.
