Perfect fit, perfect condition, perfect staff attention

I purchased this tv when my other tv broke and haven't opened the box yet.

First T.V arrived smashed - Best buy made good when brought back to store

Bought as gift for my grandmother and she loves it.

Purchased this TV in June of 2018. On January 22 2019 the factory remote and my Roku remote quit controlling the TV. Going through the warranty procedure they said the remote failed and they would send me a replacement. I said I thought it was pretty odd that 2 remotes quit working on the same day that it was a remote issue and not a TV issue. They said they would send a remote to try it. On 2/22/19 I attempted to speak with a supervisor to find out why they haven't shipped the remote yet and I was denied access to a supervisor. They emailed me later that day and said "We do apologize for the inconvenience that may cause you, we've encounter some problem at the warehouse for the shipment, please bare with us for a moment, We are looking for ways to send your replacement remote to you. Hoping for you understanding. Thank you,Westinghouse Customer Support" It is Feb. 27 today and they still have not shipped the remote. If they can't figure out how to ship a remote no wonder why the TV only lasted 8 months. I have contacted Best Buy for assistance in either replacing the TV or getting in touch with someone at Westinghouse that can help. Best Buy told me it is a warranty issue and I have to deal with Westinghouse.

I've roughly had my tv for around 3 months and I keep it on 24/7 because I'm either watching it or I've grown accustomed to sleeping with it on. Over the last few weeks the screen has been freezing up so I'm getting ready to see how good their customer service is. But I'm sure it would be a great tv especially if you dont use it 24/7

The screen and color is nice, the sound is pretty terrible. I have to now purchase a soundbar

TV doesn't get loud, shows dark. Got the tv because it was 55 inches and it was on sale. Should've went with better brand.

The sound was extremely low even on 100. Had to connect external audio to it.

TV didn't work properly right out the box. There was a 2" white line (dead spot) at the top of the screen. We took it back the next day. Sound quality wasn't very good either. I wouldn't buy Westinghouse again.

I thought this was a good deal. Bought it as a gift. It quit working in just over a year. Disappointing

This TV seemed great for the price. The color and picture quality are good and the sound is pretty solid. I never loved the remote, it's very outdated and clunky in my opinion. Lots of unneccesary buttons, but it's a remote, who cares. Now to the dealbreaker. After about 6 months of owning this TV, black bars started flashing across the screen on a regular basis. At first it only happened when the sound was up pretty high, so I thought it was just an unfortunate issue to deal with as it IS a cheap TV. However, with the sound very low, the screen still flashes. It comes and goes in severity, randomly. I've found it has nothing to do with the content or colros on the screen. It's really a bummer to have your entire viewing experience ruined. I'm buying a new TV now, less than one year after purchasing this hunk of junk. It's great for VERY short-term use! Perhaps I have a defective model, I hope that no one else deals with this.
