Very satisfied with my Westing House 50" LED TV. Would recommend to everyone!

Good quality I will recommend this product to.....

I purchased this TV on cyber Monday for $229. Great deal!! I was super excited to get it for that price. I read the reviews and they all seemed to say this TV had a good picture and poor sound. I have a sound bar so sound wasn't a big concern for me. I lugged this thing up 3 flights of stairs and mounted it. Then I realized the picture quality was horrible. The dark colors became pixelated and had a foggy appearance. The brighter colors did look good though. The sound quality is horrible as well. The sound on my laptop and on my cell phone is better. So after trying to watch tv we kept getting distracted by all the pixelations so I decided to return the tv. I found another TV at Best Buy for only $50 more and the picture and sound quality is amazing (Toshiba 50 inch LED). Do yourself a favor and pay a little more if you can.

I read the reviews and through I would give this product a try since they said the picture quality was fine. My findings is the picture quality was jerky during some viewing. Sound is terrible like a tin can. It says it has a digital tuner, WRONG!! It does not have a digital tuner. The tuner is analogue. It won't pick up digital HD channels even on an off line antenna. The only way it will work on digital channels is from a cable, satellite, or converter box; where the box is doing the work. It's to expensive for the low quality performance. Don't by any Westinghouse HD TV's. The Westinghouse name doesn't mean what it used to.

Product was broken in box. Has happened on multiple occasions. Took it back to store, but they wouldn't refund due to us waiting to open the box until our cable was installed. They said to take it back and mail it to the somebody else. Was an incredible waste of time and money. Best Buy has lost all of my business.

Good colors and sound, but the screen started flickering randomly. First started when playing from HDMI 1 source (Roku box), then the same occurred when using HDMI 2 (Cable Box). So I assumed it was a HDMI thing, but the same started occurring when watching from Air TV Channels. The flickering is unbearable. Vertical and horizontal lines appear all over the screen, making impossible watch anything. So I decided to return the item. Sadly, I had so high expectations for this TV.

The first few days, the tv was working just fine and then all of a sudden we started seeing flashing white vertical lines on the screen. This was and is very annoying. Called Westinghouse and they said to try turning the power off for 30 seconds and then pulling the power plug out for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. It works for a short time and then the flashing starts again. Very dissatisfied with this product.

For sound 2/5 tv picture quality 3/5 for the price all the parts included (screws for the tv stand were missing) 1/5

Complete trash. Flickers after a year of use. Have to slam the sides to get it to stop flickering.. and then it starts again after 4 seconds. Will never buy again. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I've had this tv for 4 months and the picture is already going out. Save your money and don't buy this.
