Great TV for the price!! Picture is great. Pretty much use this with the amazon fire tv!! Heard bad reviews about the sound. However I wouldn't know since I have it hooked up with a Samsung sound bar!!

Bought this in march picture went out. Have to call the manufacturer, Best Buy wasn't much help . I talked to someone in the Philippines waste of time for an hour . I have to take pictures front and back serial numbers model number receipt and mail the tv back at my own expense

INTRO: If you purchase this television expecting it to blow you away, please remember the price you are paying for it. In comparison to the competition at this price, I would say with confidence that Westinghouse has created a great budget 4K UHD option. While it's smart functionality is limited in comparison to my 4K Samsung TV (which I paid twice the price for), it is objectively so. SOFTWARE: The Smart TV functionality includes the basics such as Netflix and YouTube. Selecting YouTube videos from my phone, then casting them to the TV is my preferred method, but the TV app's UI is certainly sufficient (although much slower than your smartphone's processing capability).I spent some time on YouTube watching some of my favorite 4K videos, and the picture is crisp. I've had the issue of getting the Wi-Fi to stay synced after shutting the unit off then turning it back on at a later time, but it only happened once. That could very well be my network, as well. The television's wireless only supports 2.4GHz networks, but I didn't have issues with buffering or the like with my network (albeit, I have two Apple Airport Extreme 802.11ac routers for a very strong connection). Alternatively, ethernet is available, but I have not tested it. That being said, I'd recommend purchasing a set-top box (Android TV) with 4K support if you want to get the most out of this TV. DISPLAY: Going between the Samsung and the Westinghouse, I've yet to complain about the Westinghouse's panel. It holds up well, but I'll be honest and say that I haven't bothered to spend much time comparing the panels. Objectively speaking, unless you're accustomed to OLED displays or the most high-end, you will likely enjoy this display. It's native resolution is 3840x2160 at 60Hz. It's fluid, not like 120Hz, but I have no complaints in that regard. SOUND: In terms of sound, it's nothing to brag about. It definitely lacks a wide frequency range. Even with the built in EQ completely flat, it just doesn't compare to my Samsung's sound. It's not horrible by any means, but as somebody who enjoys high definition audio, I'd recommend getting a soundbar or other home theater setup. That being said, it does get pretty loud without clipping. It can probably be described as a warmer, or slightly muffled. I'd have to run a spectrum analyzer to give the best impression. ASSEMBLY: The assembly was pretty easy. Just follow the instructions, and you'll get the stand on without issue. OVERALL: I'd recommend the product--especially at this price. I don't think there really are many 4K UHD options at the price I paid that give you the feature set and quality this product provides.

Absolutely a great buy for this 4K Tv. Westinghouse, not the brand you would think of for tvs, but definitely a trusted brand over the years. Beautiful picture, able to access netflix, youtube, weather, from the remote. Maybe a little sluggish response from the remote, and the area where they reduced the cost of the tv, was the absolutely ridiculous speaker on this tv. The sound literally seems likes it's coming out of a tin can. Already had a soundbar, so the built in speaker will never be used. Not too many tvs have great speakers but this is the worst I've ever heard.

Good price for a 55-inch when I bought it on sale, but was extremely disappointed to discover that it was on sale for $130 less than what I paid, only 2 1/2 weeks later. Also, disappointed with the limited Apps included (no Hulu, etc.), and HATE the stand (it has 2 large legs that are not only ugly, but take up way too much space). I would have returned it, but had no way of getting it back to the store.

This product is a great buy for the price, extremely clear and the smart features are a godsend. My only gripe, and it's a small one is the Itty bitty little power on light that you have to squint to see, which wouldn't matter except it takes like 9 seconds to power on after the button is pressed, and that light is the only indicator that the tv is on... very small gripe, great tv

I love the size, the price was right, and it's a nice looking TV, but hate the legs that it sits on (prefer a pedestal), because they take up too much space (limits where you can place it). Also, the remote is extremely touchy!

I purchased this tv and have loved it from the moment that I turned it on. Easy too use, beautiful picture. Great price!!!

Bought this for my husband for Christmas- he wanted a bigger TV and I wanted him to have the bells and whistles of 4K Ultra High Def and a Smart TV. I was able to get all three in one model and for a price that I could afford. He loves it and the picture is awesome. This TV earned me major wife points

As far as picture quality, use, apps, wifi etc etc its all awesome! The only fault was the sound.. Very tinny, no depth. We remedied that with an LG sound bar ( just an average $100-120 one) and now its amazing!! Thats the only thing to keep it from five stars.

I didn't know about Westinghouse, I am a Sony or Samsung type, however this model has shown and proven that it is a great brand! The ultra hd provides a sharp crisp picture! It comes with apps and lots of sources to add to the tv. Be sure to purchase a 4k hdmi cable to ensure the tv is working to its full capacity.

The set is my first smart TV and first 4K. Good overall. Love the VGA connector for computer and smart TV for YouTube (best way to see 4K programming). Refresh rate is very slow, so rapid images lag. Great sound without sound bar. Price makes up for any minor technical quirks.

I usually watch my shows at night and my room is small. Sit/lay down on my bed and it's less than 7ft away, and I have my volume level at like 2 from zero, and I think the audio is fine. So like some reviews, if you sit far or like to blast the audio, you may feel like it's cheap. But if it's for a small room, I think it's fine. Also the 4K is not crisp if you're in Energy Saver mode. I played some YouTube 4K clips and they looks great from my previous TV but I do see some pixels unlike how some 4K TVs advertise. But this is great for an affordable large TV.

The price point was great the tv was easy to set up and us has not failed me yet

Looking to update my TV I came across this Westinghouse, the brand has been around a long time and the price was right. It was shipped timely and installed quickly. The picture is awesome, clear and crisp and the sound from the tv is decent, I recommend getting a soundbar or speakers. This tv comes with its own smart aps and has 3 HDMi hook ups and other extensions you can add. I will definitely recommend this tv to friend or family.

This TV was at a great price over the President's Day sale. I had been watching a lot of prices and this came in an easy $150 under a comparable model. Pros- Great Picture; Plenty of HDMI ports; Not bad sound/volume; Has a hardwire Ethernet Jack makes apps fast; Easy to control apps and sources; Cons: NO Audio Line-out? Only has Optical Out; Has a Headphone Jack that works OK but you get a buzz because it is not a true line level output; Really slow startup; You CANNOT download Apps: WYSIWYG; Overall, for me it was the lack of Audio Out, otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating. I had to buy a separate Audio system with Optical In. The startup is tolerable. Although it only comes with a few apps they are really responsive with it hardwired. Since it was not a particularly popular brand I got the extra insurance. I have had ZERO problem with the TV. Easy setup and installation. I have a wall mount system and others complained about the base being two pieces. I never put the feet on it. Looks great on a wall. My wife hates that she can't change the furniture around because the TV is fixed in its location.

I did a good bit of research online about this product before purchasing, and found the reviews to be quite accurate. I has a nice crisp picture, good color saturation and overall excellent picture, with it's one shortcoming being the sound quality...a bit flat and tinny, but I, like most people, planned to use an outside audio source, (JBL Surround Sound System), so sound quality was not a concern. Overall, I think it is a great deal for the price.

great tv. good picture and easy to add attachments to. We really like the wifi and watching Netflix and You tube on it.

Not a real smart TV. Its more of an app TV with only 5 apps, you also cant download apps

wow it comes to life while watching excellent picture quality
