    I just give it four stars because this is the second microwave I have replaced. I keep buying whirlpool because it fits right back over my stove with no problems.

    good microwave, only complaint is the panel has no lights to see what you want to do. You need to turn a light on in the room to see to turn on light on microwave.

    It's nothing fancy, but for the price, I think it's just fine. The door closes like a mini countertop unit and no instructions included are my only complaints.

    The only reason I gave this a 4 was because the door isn't a soft close and shuts very hard and loud. Other than this, it is an excellent value and great microwave.

    The dark interior makes it difficult to see what is happening as compared to a light interior. It is very noisy compared to our previous Whirlpool Microwave -- sounds like it is grinding coffee. It is bigger than the old one by just enough that made putting up the new one cost us more in installation than the microwave itself.

    We've had over the range microwave for the 30 years we have lived in this house. The last one was a GE that only managed to last 3 years. GE should be ashamed. But we replaced it with this Whirlpool. This is huge, somehow so much bigger than any other we've had. When installed there was less than 15" clearance from the bottom to the stovetop. We returned it for a Samsung.
