I have had this microwave for just over a year. The microwave was working fine until this past July (2019), when the problems started. Initially the touch screen locked up and would only respond after you open and close the door. This problem would happen intermittently and after the 3rd party tech assigned by Whirlpool came out he elected to replace the door with a brand new one. The oven worked ok for a week or so and then started locking up again. During this time the LED screen on the door went all gray and all the controls locked up. I unplugged it for a minute and upon replugging it in the LED screen booted up, but now had horizontal lines through it. The screen finally cleared up after a few hours. After calling Whirlpool again they sent out a different 3rd party company repairman. This repairman stated that he never saw this particular microwave and ergo had never worked on one. He could not reproduce the problem at that time, but thankfully we had made a video of the problem when it occurred. He had no idea on how to address the problem and had to call Whirlpool's engineers for answers. He returned a few days later and tried a few recommended diagnostics from Whirlpool but all appeared ok, at that time. I asked where we go from here, he replied that even though the Whirlpool engineer stated that it shouldn't be the door because it was new, he was going to order another replacement door. He later advised that the door was backordered and didn't know when it would be available. After the tech left the microwave now started making a "gear grinding" noise from inside of the oven when we attempted to cook or defrost something. The microwave would stop after 3-4 seconds and display that the cycle was completed. I now called Whirlpool with the new problem, expressing that I think that this oven should be replaced with this being the 3rd issue in a short time. They refused, stating that there was a process and further the tech would have to come out once again and deem it "unrepairable", and only then would they consider replacing it. During this conversation I revealed to a supervisor (Karen) that I had the Best Buy Service Contract on the oven and then she refused to deal with me anymore, stating that it's in Best Buy's hands now. I asked why, as this continuing problem started within the 1st year under Whirlpool's warranty and it still is not resolved? She stated that after the year is up and I had purchased the Best Buy service contract it then became their problem, regardless. I expressed my disgust with their product and the way that this whole set of issues was handled by Whirlpool by "passing the buck" and then contacted the Geek Squad. As of this writing I am waiting for them to respond on my appointment date and apparently start all over again! Buyer beware, this LED screen problem was reported at length in another review. If you still decide to purchase this oven I would recommend the Geek Squad service contract, as I believe that for the money this is an inferior product.

A little overrated of a machine. Has wireless power with limited features.

Worst microwave ever. I've had various issues with the touchscreen and saying connected to the WIFI since I got it. Now it keeps rebooting itself and freezing. Certified repair man came today and he said this has been common with this panel and the only fix is to order another one. Of course it's backordered for 3 weeks. That's not acceptable

This microwave has an amazing space to cook anything you want. Many cooking options, also if you download the app it will let you manage your cooking options from your phone! Will also Let you know once cooking is complete :) Love it!

I love this microwave, it has so many great features. My favorite feature so far is the popcorn sensing setting, we make popcorn in a microwavable bowl and it pops it perfectly so I don't have to guess the perfect time anymore.

A few problems here and there but its weird tec its to be expected but a nice thing to be able to remote start stuff.

IN APPLIANCE WIRLPOOL GOT ME EVEN THOUGH SOMETIMES SANSUMG HAS ITS PICKS. HIGH END QUALITY PRODUCT.

Still figuring our this smart microwave. It’s going to be interesting seeing how the oven works can’t wait to cook on it. It’s very quiet and love the extra shelf plus carousel on bottom

Really works well both as a microwave and convection oven. I bought open box, which I would not do again as it was missing parts despite being told otherwise by Best Buy but that is not the oven's fault. Very nice product.

I bought this and had no idea it had a touch screen and wifi. Really only got it based on size. Pleasantly surprised.

Looks like it is a really nice oven. Complicated to use for non-techies like me, but getting there. Biggest obstacle for us was to figure out it was on store demo mode and then figure out how to shut it off. Now we get to learn how to use it. Definitely something you want to have professionally installed unless you are very handy.

GREAT ADDITION TO KITCHEN!! So convenient, located right above stove, able to multi-task.

Third times a charm. Very nice microwave. Have yet to use all the features but so far so good.

If you're a techie you will love this unit. You'll wonder why it took so long to be made. It does everything but eat the food for you. If all you want to do is heat up your coffee fagetaboutit. Buy a $50 box but if you love your kitchen ohhhhhh yeah!

Absolutely love this microwave!! I love how I can turn the oven on from my phone!! This smart appliance looks so classy and elegant in our kitchen. Definitely recommend. We get compliments all the time!
