No one seems to repair - they recommend replacing! My previous Whirlpool lasted about 6 years, so 2 is disappointing! Will not purchase again.

However, we noted that it sounds a bit louder than we expected, the door shuts a bit rougher than our other unit, and the motor is on the right side and the sound can be alterated by gentle finger oressure in that area.
