Bought this an open box item and couldn’t be more pleased. Nice even heating and so many features. Remember if you buy open box you will need a mounting bracket. Best bet is to call manufacturer and they send one.

Bought this microwave as it matches our stove. We renovated our kitchen and got rid of the 40 year old hood vent (no exterior exhaust vent) and put this in instead. Looks nice, works well, heats food the same as pretty much every other microwave i've ever used.

We are in a suite until our home is finished. We are using this same microwave and I love it! Can't wait to try my purchase out.

Its as basic as it gets. heats up pretty well. the door sounds like a can when opened and closed which i think is normal for basic microwaves. Even though it replaced another whirlpool it wasnt a direct replacement. i still had to drill holes. my real issue is the fan automatically turns on when it detects heat from the range/oven and cant be turned off. i wish there was a switch. All of my appliances are whirlpool and they have all lasted over 15 yrs and some are still working. the previous microwave lasted for 12 years hopefully this will also.

This is a good microwave. Nothing special but gets the job done. It has all of the features I wanted in a microwave; timer, over the stove light / installation, automatic cooking schedules and stainless steel look finish. I am quite satisfied with this product.

Very happy with this microwave! Plenty of options but not so many that it is hard to use. Looks great in my kitchen.

My last microwave was an older Whirlpool, I guess they just don't make things the way they use to. Overall it works, the sensor is not terrific for baking potatoes or reheating anything. The biggest disappointment is the light under the microwave, it barely lights up your stove area when it's on high.

Simple and effective. Has all the features that higher priced models offer. It is nice looking, too. I only wish the buttons were backlit, but, most microwaves don't have that feature.

I recently had to replace my over the range microwave and took about 6 weeks to research. After many back and forth comparisons, I finally decided to go with the WhirlPool 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over the Range fingerprint resistant microwave, and I couldn't be happier. It was easy to install and works like a charm. I really like how the fan is automatically on when using, and turns off when it's done as well. I know that some people found it to be too dim when using the lights, specifically because the lights are in the bottom back of the unit, but I didn't find this problematic. So, so far so good! It's not too loud, and it works very well for the money I spent.

This microwave works well and is much quieter than my previous one. It’s rated at 1000 watts and heats up frozen foods faster than my previous 1200 watt microwave.

I have used this several times now. I like this microwave. I wish the under hood light was brighter. The fan speeds are nice.

Replacing a GE Profile with this unit. Newer design and features. Just a little deeper than the old unit but it fits the spot just right. Runs quite and not to loud.

Very happy with purchase. Especially like added features like “keep warm” and the larger interior. Installation was a challenge since it was much heavier than the microwave we were replacing. Price was great.
