Exelente nice and spacious work great the best microwave

We had to replace our 10 year old built in microwave. After a long search, we decided on this one mainly due to price and features. Slightly bigger than our old one. Great quality, great price. Delivery was fast and was easy to install, fit in the old brackets that we have.

We replaced all the appliances in our kitchen a few months ago and the final piece was the microwave. I found this while doing an online search and stopped by my local Best Buy to check it out. We don’t do a lot of microwave cooking but this is a large microwave, standard size on the exterior however the interior is designed to utilize as much space as possible for large items, I mean a mid size turkey would fit in this bad boy. The second thing I noticed was how quit the door closed, might seem minor but that bang latch of others we’ve owned is annoying. The controls consisted of what we normally use with the multi light and fan settings and seemed like a good fit. When I got home I did my last reviews and sent this to my cart on the website. Little did I know that because I’ve been a loyal BB consumer my membership priced kicked in and we got another hundred and change off! Wow that was a pleasant surprise and better yet when I installed it it performed outstanding and is one of the most quite microwaves we’ve ever owned.

Works great, user friendly, and cleans nicely. Looks nice and matches with the other Whirlpool appliances that I have. Great product for the price.

I have had this installed for a couple weeks now. It was a replacement for another Whirlpool Over-The-Range microwave. The upside is that it was that as far as mounting it went, it was the exact same as the 10-year-old model it replaced. All of the microwave functions are similar and the unit itself probably weighed half as much as the old one so getting it up and mounted was easier. The downside is that this is a slightly lower grade model than the one it replaced because it does not have the connection bake function the previous one had. That should explain most of the weight difference between the two. Thus far the microwave works well so I have no complaints. The install was easy and the microwave does everything it should in about the same timeframe as the unit it replaced.

I am very pleased with the product. The installers arrived on time and quickly installed the microwave and explained the various new functions compared to my old microwave. The microwave runs efficiently and I am pleased with the purchase. The overall experience from the store salesman who took his time to explain everything to the installation was excellent.

This microwave is adequate for the purpose. Because the developer chose to design a built-in model of microwave/hood, we are locked into a few products unless we want to remodel the kitchen. The previous version lasted about 15 years and then started to fall apart. This is the replacement by the same brand. It is noisier, it does not exhaust as well as the old model and the light is dim. It has a vent behind the door at the top of the microwave that gathers dust and grease and requires disassembling the machine to clean. The old model had a glass liner on the inside of the door. Now it is a sheet of plastic film. Tacky! We considered other models, but because Best Buy does not have them wired in the store, it is impossible to compare features such as light, suction and sound. Oh! On the positive side, It does boil water.

We absolutely love this OTR Whirlpool Microwave. It's attractive with just the right amount of bells and whistles. The controls are easy to use; it's easy to clean. We've had it for 10 months and it has worked like a champ the entire time. (MUCH better than the GE it replaced--which kept blowing fuses in the door). Highly recommend.

We bought this microwave to replace a slightly older model that stopped working. The wall brackets were compatible so installation was a snap. It works great and has plenty of features without being confusing.

We replaced our old microwave with one with the same features because we were satisfied with it. The microwave has all the features that we need and use for the type of cooking we do.

This OTR microwave works fine but is not as powerful as my previous Samsung 1000 watt OTR, The installation was subpar. I asked the installer to vent the microwave upward (like the old one he removed) and then I would connect the vent pipes to the unit. Instead he installed it for internal venting and did not leave me the damper that came with the unit. We checked the microwave operations but I did not climb up to see if the vent damper was installed. Now, I tried to call Geek Squad and could not find anyone who can do anything for me other than schedule a tech to come out and look at it. Of course, he will then have to order the damper and there be another visit. Pretty frustrating.

I love what the inside of this microwave. If I get food particles inside it is so easy to wipe up. I like the biggest of it and the grill that they have. When I put two different item in on top of grill and on the bottom it does great. All of my food cooks even as well. It cook what the timer suggested. The services guys that put this up were very nice men and they were very fast and the cleaned up after putting product in.

Love that it leaves no fingerprints!! Lots of options with the buttons, popcorn popped perfectly. Defrost works great & cook (may take 30 seconds longer than my old microwave, but I'm ok with that) Great price, would highly recommend for everyday usage!
