We were happy with the appliance until it made some popping noise and smoke started coming out of the top. I had bought the microwave a while ago and it was sitting in the box; the incident happened within 50 days of installing it. The repair guys said there is corrosion and needs the capacitor and transformer changed.

Fine microwave good value for price works good not too loud

We purchased this and had it installed in April 2018. The technology is great but the microwave has already stopped responding and will not power up as of November 2018. Before it died, there were times when you have to give it a few minutes to react. Based on previous service history with Best Buy, we're dreading even trying to get it serviced.

I am thoroughly disappointed in this and my other whirlpool appliances. I bought a full kitchen about 5 years ago. This microwave, along with matching stove, fridge and dishwasher. We are on the 3rd microwave so far. No longer under warranty. So it’s cash out of pocket. Fridge broke, stove grate broke, stove knobs falling off. Etc. find another brand or plan to buy the longest extended warranty they offer.

Does not meet our expectations. Why do I have to use up all of the characters? This survey is ridiculous.

Was damaged when installed. Dropped so hard door won’t open. Have to wait month and half to get new one installed? Still 2 weeks away. Made purchase in Nov 29. Terrible service.

Just received this and on the first day when I turned on the light the bulb blew! Scared the crap out of me as I was cooking at my stove when this happened! My husband thought we could just replace the bulb and it would be fine. We purchased a new bulb and now the light won't turn off. What a piece of garbage!! So now as a customer I'm inconvenienced yet again. I'd like a new one as this one is a lemon! I just purchased a new Whirlpool oven from Best Buy and I wanted it to match. I don't recommend!

Had to switch back to Whirlpool. Tried about brand, but product didn't last. We love the style and service we have received from Whirlpool products.

I purchased the whirlpool microwave after seeing so many great reviews. Within 1 year of using the appliance an smoke smell starting coming from under the plate. I removed the plug for safety and called whirpool who confirmed that the product parts or product would be replaced free of charge. Whirpool sent Guinco Service - Appliance Repair Company on Friday, October 15th but that was no help. I have filed a complaint with Whirlpool as this product is a safety hazard. DO NOT BUY.

Not even a year and it seems like it is going to break down ! Cant use the warranty with Whirlpool because we would need to SHIP it to them then install again!! AH!

When it came out of the box it had a small scratch up near the whirlpool sign. Aside from the aesthetic issue, it's fine.

I could not be happier with this microwave. Everything about the purchase, down to finding the microwave that matched my old one in size, the delivery and installation was so easy and professionally handled. The sales lady that helped me was so good at helping me find exactly what I was looking for. it works so well and is easy to operate. The installation was so efficient and my technician was so helpful in showing me how to operate the microwave.

Don’t buy these microwave. This is my THIRD one in 5 years. I only purchased a third b/c it fell into my credit card’s extended warranty so they paid for it. These microwaves just stop working. Each one broke following a “zap” & flash while heating something inside. Poorly made. Very disappointing.

The the light underneath lightbulb burned out after a few month. We put a new one in and it stopped functioning altogether.

Had to cancel order when delivery was extended from 30 days to over three months.

Love GE products. This only reason that this isn't getting a 5 star is there aren't shortcut cooking buttons for 1min, 2 min...

The cooking function panel, not working properly. The only recourse was a replacement. The replacement will take two months.

I am enjoying my new microwave, I like the cute little sounds it make when it's finished warming my food...
