We bought this fridge on sale during Thanksgiving week because the ice maker on our old fridge went out sometime ago and we finally decided to just get a new fridge. We decided that a counter depth would probably give us a little more room as well in our kitchen the way it is laid out with the island so we decided on that style. It definitely has given us more room and it was immediately noticeable how much less space it took up being counter depth which was exactly what my wife and I wanted. It could hold just about all the food from our old Fridge which was a regular size side by side. The only real gripe we have had so far is that there is a place for one more shelf in the Freezer but it wasn't included and from what my wife has looked at online it is going to be between $80 and $90 to get another freezer shelf. There is also room for another door shelf on the fridge side that with how we have them arranged could have have had another shelf on the door so we are looking to order one of those which I believe is going to be between $30 and $40. Other than the gripes about the missing shelving we have been happy with it so far. It makes ice pretty quickly and we haven't run out of ice yet! It also has an auto-fill feature once you calibrate it so i can put my coffee pot under it and tell it to fill 50 ml and it automatically fills for me to setup 10 cups coffee for the next morning without standing there holding it. Installation from Best Buy was great as well and rather painless installing this one...not so much for when they had to remove the old one but they got it out.

Love it so far. Smooth delivery and install and love the ice and water. I did order an extra shelf for the freezer which is very high in cost. Like other reviews I read, only gave it 4 stars because of the lack of shelving in the freezer. Otherwise it was a good choice.

"Installation" was by two truckers. After a complaint, a second set of truckers spent more time arguing that nothing could be done than they did in leveling the fridge. The ice maker is noisy. There is more noise off and on from some function. The meat drawer binds rather than slides smoothly. The fridge is still not level. Yes, the floor is uneven but the screw devices on the fridge do not have the range to overcome this; our prior refrigerator's levelers took care of that. If this was a $100 TV, I would have taken it back but the logistics of trading out a refrigerator have resulted in a decision to live with it but there must be a better counter depth solution out there somewhere. I would happily pay more for quieter ice maker, leverers with more range, drawers that pull in and out without binding, and a refrigerator that operates silently.

Only problem is that it does make a noise constantly. I am trying to buy a filter wondering if the is the correct one for it? EDR1RXD1

Only have had it a couple of days, which is why I gave only 4 stars. So far no issues. I hesitated getting this refrigerator based on reviews saying it made loud noises. I have not experienced any noise other than when the ice drops into the container and the water runs into the ice maker all of which is about 30 seconds if that. I doubt that there’s any ice makers that can drop the ice without making noise.

Thank heavens Best Buy has an awesome return policy! I bought the wrong frige, it was huge! Totally my fault but just take a look at the differences between the 2 in the pictures. The fridge works great and the exchange/delivery went perfectly.

Love the clear see/ thru plastic drawers. Should have had one more self included as there is a ledge for it. Did not have the referenced filter piece (approx 2x3”) mentioned in manual on the inside. I will call to see about ordering the piece. Water does not come out cold initially-unlike previous ‘fridge. This may be an energy saving step? Overall, very pleased with it.

Good exterior appearance. Very limited door storage in both refrigerator and freezer. Coiled water hose behind vegetable drawer is a poor design and cheapens the interior appearance. Louder than previous refrigerator.

Our fridge broke right at the start of the Coronavirus situation. I wanted something fast but didn't want to spend that much money on something I would hate. The original delivery date was postponed but 3 weeks later I had my fridge. We had to install it because of the pandemic - that was interesting! I like the fridge. It looks pretty. I had to buy an additional shelf for the freezer but in the reviews I had read, I expected that. It would be nice if they included it because that was an additional $114.00. My big thing is noise and the condenser on this is a bit loud but it only happens every once in awhile and for a very short time so it is bearable. It has not woken me up so that's good. My kitchen is small and not fancy so this works. We haven't had the water and ice hooked up yet because of the COVID 19 but I am looking forward to having that set up. If you don't want to spend a lot but want the side by side, this is a good option.

The white fridge is clean and fits perfectly in our office space. We needed a counter depth fridge that would not interfere with existing doors, and this worked perfectly. Ice maker is a bit louder than we would like, but the fridge has plenty of room for our 8 person office.

I recently purchased this refrigerator and Very happy with the design, the look and fit. I do wish, however, that it had one more shelf in the freezer section, as it has the space for an additional one.

Great refrigerator for our small space. Of course, with the counter depth you lose storage space.

Love the ice maker. Roomier than I expected. Quiet. Beautiful to look at. Perfect for my space.

Worst refrigerator. One good thing: keeps food cold and frozen. My grandmother's Ice Box did so also. Tiny shelves can barely fit 10-12" pizza.bbut if you want another self you can order for abit over $200 including tax and shipping. Light bulbs in the $99 range. Produce drawer basically fills up with product needed for a salad for two people: lettuce, red onion, tomato, and. cucumber. Wine bottle has to be in door shelf. Shelves are shallow. Plastic light protector is same as model of 20 years ago: flimsy plastic, easy to jostle and hard to replace, easy to get brittle and over $90 to replace. And then the twice a year air and water filters cough up $100+ twice each year. It is definitely BIG on the outside but tiny on the inside. I do NO T recommend.

Overall this fridge is definitely an improvement over the 16 year old smaller Whirlpool (bought from Sears due to limited cabinet space in the old kitchen). Due to a kitchen sink flood issue, the old cabinets were removed and now I have room for a larger model. Seems to have enough room for a family and definitely appreciate the ice and water dispenser. The shelves seem a little flimsy but it’s too soon to tell how durable this product will be.

Not sure why but the downfalls so far is that it's kind of small for a side by side...but I guess that's why it's counter-depth. The door for the fridge side squeaks when we open it and when we opened this from the box there was already a minor dent :( But I like the feature of the water and ice dispenser.

This is perfect if you’re looking for a small fridge, like for a family of 2, may be up to three. I read some reviews about being noisy, that is if you’re paranoid and pay too much attention to your surroundings

nice fridge for the $$$. Space limitations force us to go with counter depth, but the Whirlpool fits the bill. I like the small cube ice maker and clever dispenser system. Time will tell, but so far so good.

I absolutely love my refrigerator!! I was concerned I wouldn’t have enough room in the side-by-side but I don’t have a problem the space. And I love that it doesn’t stick out 4 or 5 inches past the cabinets. it’s so easy to keep clean. And the water filter is so easy to change.
