A replacement! It works for what we needed it for. Wife loves it.

If you are looking for 24" build in single electric wall oven, of all that I looked at the Whirlpool 24" Built -In Single Electric Wall Oven was the very best one I found available. Standard size wall ovens are generally 30", the selection for 24' have less available. Even though this wall oven is smaller it had all the features of the larger wall oven. I highly recommend this model wall oven not only for its size but all the upgraded features and the overall ease of use. You will not be disappointed.

You get what you pay for. Easy installation. Good replacement for 1992 oven. New ovens are slimmer than old ones, so had to get more trim (they don't sell a trim package). It does take a while to heat up, and the fan is noisy in cooling down as others have said, so if you expect miracles...go spend more and you'll get more. It's not the greatest oven, but it will do the job needed.

Just had the oven for about a month and it seems to do what it's supposed to. However, it does take a while to heat up, setting bake temp to 400 takes a long time to preheat (maybe 25 min). Perhaps Whirlpool intentionally went conservative to not cause overheating situations? I would love to get Whirlpool's feedback on this. Also, not thrilled that pricing for a small electric oven is so expensive, a lot more than the cost for a gas oven. Also, this is not convection, but not sure if that makes a big difference

I spent a long time researching 24" wall ovens for my apartment kitchen remodel... and this one seemed to have good reviews and a sleek look that would match the rest of the kitchen. I'm a trained chef and avid baker, so this decision was labored--once the appliance was finally installed, I turned it on to test it out... it smelled awful, like burning plastic and chemicals. I figured the smell would go away, but a YEAR later, it still hasn't. Even worse, though: the temperature and heating mechanism is completely off. A standard preheat to 350 degrees can sometimes take an entire hour. And once I put something IN the actual oven, the temperature immediately drops and doesn't reach the original temperature for a long time. In short: this oven is a complete flop. It's unreliable, and a huge disappointment on every level.

Reviewed many wall ovens even though the choice was a little limited due to the size dimensions. Very pleased with the installation and the end results.

I previously had a whirlpool wall oven and I thought this was the same product! This oven takes too long to preheat! Waste of time!!!

Simple to use. Clean design. The geek squad installers were efficient and did a great job.

My only complaint is the fan emits a lot of heat at the bottom of the oven. Other than that we have enjoyed using our new oven. At first it seemed to take a long time to warm up but now that we have used it a few times that seems to take less time. We did not get the self cleaning element since we had read quite a few reviews saying it was the thing that required repairs most often. Our old oven lasted 40 years.....lets hope this one does the same!!! LOL

Takes a while to heat up and cool down. Works great for the space and what we needed.

Best Buy delivered and installed my oven. They also took away the old one. The oven cooks great and has a cooling system to prevent the house from getting so hot. The only thing is I wish that it was self cleaning but overall it perfect for me.

First off, it took over 2 months to get this thing delivered, they changed delivery date 3 times. That said, installation was easy, but oven performance really sucks! To pre-heat to 400 degrees takes AT LEAST 45 minutes! It never reaches the set temp, and does not hold temp while cooking. I put an oven thermometer inside, set oven for 400. 45 minutes later, internal temp varied from 300-350 degrees! Never even reached 400. Cooling fan stays on for about an hour after the oven is turned off, and is NOT very quiet! Things take twice as long as normal to cook, due to the low, inconsistent temperature.

The fan is a little louder than I wish but not bad.

Oven looks awsome and fits in the 24" space perfect. Works Great!

It works very well and I have used it every day since it was installed last week. My only regret is that i didn't realize that it is not self-cleaning.

Love my new wall oven. It cooks even and well. I have several Whirlpool appliances and am looking to get a refrigerator soon. Happy with my purchase.

I've had this oven about a month, and after a couple of uses the new plastic smell went away. It cooks evenly and is easy to use.
