This range hood is pretty quiet, while keeping all odors out of the house. I barely notice it's on. Very satisfied!

I prefer appliances to be very very quiet- this is a little loud for me, but much quieter than others, so overall I am happy with this. I would recomment it to anyone needing a range hood- very good looking, over the stove.

I do enjoy the hood but BEWARE what they don't tell you is the $180-$220 in additional costs to install it and that if after the initial install fee and with a cabinet. If you want it to look like the picture $800-$1,000 extra. It also took (I ca t make this up) FIVE separate appointments to get it installed! Most subcontractors did NOT know how to install it. It was only after the original subcontractor called another subcontractor who called a third one that we finally got it installed! Do not buy your external range hoods from Best Buy. Please learn from my mistake.
