    We bought this to go along with our Samsung appliances which are stainless (our old appliances and range hood were white) Pros: Cheap cost but looks nice Matches our Samsung appliances Cons: Only 1 40watt light that does not point down onto the cooktop. 2 fan speeds Loud fan We weren't expecting much for the price and we are happy with it. If you just need a basic range hood it should do.

    This overhead range is okay but we wish we had shopped around more. It was difficult to find one since Best Buy does not carry overhead ranges without microwaves attached.

    I purchased this along with a new stove when our old stove died. Since the new stove is stainless steel, we needed a simple stainless steel hood to go with it. This one fit our bill and hasn’t disappointed. It was easy to install as well.

    Nice range, Delivered on time, but we had problems with the connection. Nobody told us at the store that we need to buy the appliance connection separately.

    It does everything it suppose to do. It sucks smells and smoke and provides adequate lighting while cooking. The vent is much quieter than my older hood vent. I recommend this hood vent.

    This range hood goes well with a stainless steel range. It has a sleek design. You will need a electrician to install this hood. Overall, no problems.

    I didn't need good that vented to outside. Just a fan and light. The one thing I didn't like is that the inside of the hood is visible and Whirlpool lined the inside with unseemly stickers. My contractor was able to remove two of them with goo gone.

    I just needed a convertible range hood that looked attractive, provided light and adequate recirculating ventilation. It does all of that. I wish the need for a charcoal filter had been more clearly stated in the description.
