Works well good exhaust fans, filters, 2 lights one blew after we had it for less than 2 weeks. Now have to go purchas 1 bulb already.

My range hood is very quiet and powerful. I feel it really helps to reduce the heat in the room when I am cooking.

Just what we were looking for? We have a weird space that needed something specific and this worked perfect.

My husband put this up for me and I absolutely hate it, it is to shallow, it doesn't even come close to being out far enough to suck up the steam from cooking, it is soooo LOUD, it is horrid, my husband doesn't want to deal with taking it down and putting another one up and I wouldn't know where to begin to do it myself or it would be returned.

Real quite fan and lights aren't super bright which made it nice for cooking

I LOVE THE LOOK ON THIS THE ONLY THING IS THAT IT DOES NOT COME WITH A ROUND PLATE AND REOUND DAMPIER IF OU HAVE A ROUND VENTING SYSTEM. I HAD TO ORDER MORE PARTS COSTING ME MORE MONEY. THIS PART SUCKED.

This works well but it is very loud. The lights are bright and I like how sleek it looks

I have to say that I'm pleased with the appearance of this hood. If you have standard 12" cabinets, it will stick out a bit but it's not unsightly. I was hoping that the fan would be capable of moving a bit more air. The fan in this unit is a turbine type design and these just aren't as effective as centrifugal blowers in other hoods. I would say that if you are just an occasional cook, this is a good hood to clear cooking odors, but if you are cooking on a daily basis, and especially if you brown meat or make roasts that give off large volumes of smoke, a more capable hood would be better. That said, it's a whole lot better than a recirculating hood.

I ordered the range hood and finally found someone to install it but when we took it out it was damaged. So now I have to order another one!

I found it to be high priced and when we opened the box, it had a big gash in the corner. I brought it back and decided not to get another one.

No show or call on a scheduled repair . Wasted a day

Just installed it. Whirlpool states the "FIT" design allows one person to install it. That may be true if you get lucky but that's a stretch. I was able to make 3 of the 4 install connections myself but the 4th required a friend to hold the hood while I'll tightened the screw. Very disappointed they included the wrong size charcoal filter (should be 18 inch but the included one is 10 inch) and BestBuy doesn't sell the 18 inch filter so this is going to be an ordeal getting the correct one. I also noticed the box states "Whirlpool" but that name is nowhere on the range hood or anywhere within the instructions which I thought was odd. The two lights work well. The fan has 3 speeds, the 1st is low and quiet, the 2nd is powerful and loud but the typical volume of most range hoods. The 3rd speed is ridiculously powerful and very loud and I can't imagine ever using that speed. The hood seems twice the weight of my previous 20 year old hood but with steel that's to be expected, but again part of the reason it's hard for one person to install it. To be fair if everything goes perfectly you can install it alone, but I wouldn't recommend it.

works great and functions well. easy to use. I have never had any issues with Whirlpool products.

The box says that you will only need one person, that was not true for us. The protective film was on it so well it left some pieces on it where you can't get it off. But it does the job.
