Installed this hood myself. Pretty easy, had no problems. Worked when I was done installing it.looks great and has a very quite 2 speed fan.

Easy to install and very straight forward instructions. Decent looking and performs the basic functions it claims it will do. For the price it was a good buy.

Installation was easy. It's so quiet that when we turned it on that we thought we didn't connect it correctly. When you put your hand underneath you can't even feel air being pulled in. Kind of regretted that we didn't pick another unit that has better suction.

First one received dented, return process was cumbersome.
If you order online you cant return to the store and have to ship the defective unit back. and wait for replacement to be shipped out.
It makes sense, but it was an unexpected hassle.
Looks nice once installed. Installation difficult.

Received the item in good condition. There was protective covering that was slightly more difficult than others I've had to remove, and it got stuck in some of the perforated portions of the metal.
The real problems with installing were:
1. There were two round perforations that would create holes for the electrical wire to pass through into the wall or electrical source. They were appropriately placed on the top of the hood or in the back to accommodate two different arrangements, but they were not able to be "popped out" as the instructions implied.
2. The Installation instructions were not good.
In the end, the hood looked good and is functional and it was an affordable price.

This is a simple, budget friendly hood. I like it's slim profile. It is very quiet, however it doesn't seem to pull steam into it at all, even on the high setting. I'm not sure how effective it is, thus the three stars.

This is a good basic option for the price-conscious - we choose this because it was a low price and was available in stainless steel to match our other appliances.

My husband installed this himself. The cord wasn't long enough to reach where our outlet was so he had to do some rearranging of electrical stuff to make it work. It works well- the actual fan is very quiet and doesn't seem to work as well as I'd like but over all it's good.

I purchased this range hood on October 18, and it was delivered promptly. Unfortunately, the item was defective and couldn’t be installed properly. Due to ongoing kitchen repairs and being out of town for part of the delivery window, I wasn’t able to address the issue immediately.
When I went to return the defective range hood 20 days after delivery, I was informed it was outside the 15-day return window. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering that beginning November 1, Best Buy extended its return policy to January 14 for holiday purchases. I was also told by the store manager that my return would only be processed if I purchased a Best Buy membership, which felt unfair.
After multiple calls to customer service, I was issued a return label. However, instead of processing the return, the product was shipped back to me with a letter citing a 30-day return window. This is inconsistent with what the store told me and raises concerns about how return policies are communicated and enforced.
I’m still trying to resolve this issue, but this experience has made me reconsider my trust in Best Buy. Defective products should not be held to rigid return windows, and customers shouldn’t feel forced to pay for memberships to get fair treatment.
I hope Best Buy takes a closer look at its policies and ensures that they are fair, consistent, and customer-focused.
