I didn't want a dryer whose control panel looked like it belonged on the bridge of a star ship. Basic functions were fine. This dry does everything you need without having 8,271 extra settings to work your way through just to switch between washing heavy towels to bleaching whites to delicate loads

My 1st experience with an electric dryer - I'm a die-hard gas user - I have been pleasantly surprised.

It works hard for the money. It has been my experience that dryers last around for years or so. With that in mind I chose to stay away from the more expensive type of dryers and went with this quality option. I have not been disappointed. It works just fine and gets my clothes dry.

You have to have the machine closed to fill up. I don't like that. Cleans clothes well though.

I needed a new washer and dryer, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This was one up from the least expensive models available. My saleswoman, Toni, helped me evaluate the features and the product rating for each machine. This one had many more reviews than the other manufacturer's machine at the same price, and was rated 4.5 stars. I've had it a month now and it is working fine, but it is not exactly a "heavy duty" machine compared to the 20 year old Kenmore it replaced. The components are electronic and there's a push button to start the wash cycle. I have four adults in the house using the machine, and we haven't had it long enough, so the jury's still out. Overall it's satisfactory for the money, but I don't expect to get years of service from it.

We bought this for our daughter and she thinks it is great. We have been Whirlpool fans for years.

Only complaints I have is it has no light inside the dryer and it does not buss when the load is done.

This dryer has all the options I could need, including the very useful Fluff Air cycle (no heat)
