This purchase replaced an 18 year-old version of this dryer. Definitely more timing options than the early version and still simple to use. This is the best part of the story. Within 24 hours I realized there was a problem with the control panel. My first call was to Whirlpool and they walked me thru some Unsuccessful “fixes”. The Whirlpool Rep said forget it, the machine needs to be replaced and advised me to call Best Buy and ask for a replacement. Within 20 minutes I had someone from Best Buy on the phone and had a replacement scheduled for delivery 6 days later. While some people would consider this a bad experience; it only confirmed for me why I keep going to Best Buy for my small & large appliance needs. By the way, the dryer is great and works like a charm. I would strongly recommend Whirlpool and always shopping at Best Buy for Major Appliances.

I could not be happier with this purchase! I love that the dryer senses when the load is dry and turns off. This saves power and does. It over work and damage my laundry. The putting are touch buttons and work beautifully. It’s easy to figure out the best selections for the load...the lint trap is easy to use. The only thing I would of liked that this one does not have is a steam option to de wrinkle items. Steam requires a water inlet hose directly to the dryer, so I decided not to get a dryer with steam. I can throw in a wet towel to make steam if I need to de wrinkle something. This dryer is quiet and also looks really nice. I have had this dryer about a week and have used it every day since I got it. Best Buy was awesome to purchase from! Delivered 3 days after purchase date and the delivery team was perfectly on time and very fast and professional. I am very happy with my brand new dryer! This is the first time so have purchased brand new laundry appliances and I am so happy with my choice! Whirlpool was my first choice because they have a good reputation for quality a d customer service! Plus they are made in the USA! His dryer looks great next to the matching washer! I will be stacking them to save space, but they look great either way.

The dryer itself is excellent therefore I am rating it five stars. The “delivery” however was a nightmare (ZERO STARS) the first two they tried to deliver were both damaged, third time was a charm. I don’t know if the warehouse is damaging them or the contracted drivers. Best Buy made it right by compensating me with a gift card. I got a little something for my time and troubles could’ve been more but I’ll take it. I had to take time off work three separate times. As for the dryer I just put it on high and the clothes come out to dry. Have not had a need to use any of the special functions because I just have regular clothes no special garments to use any of the other settings, so I cannot rate of those features. So take my review for what it’s worth if you just need a dryer to dry your clothes this one works just fine. When you dry bedsheets they come out wrinkled but I think that goes for most home dryers especially king size bed sheets. So I’m not going to subtracting stars for that because I’m a reasonable person.

Beautiful machine with just the right amount of options. I'm still learning to work with the new cycles and times, but I am very pleased.

My dryer broke so I decided to get a new washer and dryer . I went to Best Buy and looked at Whirlpool, LG and Samsung and ended up with the Whirlpool after what looked like a pretty good reviews. My washer broke the first time I used it and when I threw the wet laundry from the washer into the dryer the dryer stopped working and kept flashing F3 E2. It was a nightmare! I called Best Buy, switched to Samsung and had them delivered a few days later and so far so good.... fingers crossed

Purchased 2 months ago now. The unit is really easy to use and has the large capacity that I was looking for. Really the largest I’ve ever seen. Works great overall. Couple of things just that are really being picky if you want. The unit comes with some really cheese feet which if your stacking this on the washer, scratch the heck out of the thing from day one. Here’s an idea, when you spend the money on a dryer like this, provide something nice. We cut down the rubber standoffs with a razor knife and they worked great. Kept the unit from sliding around. The other is that it’s a little noisy. Seems like the drum or something is banging around against the outside wall of the unit. Doesn’t really affect the operation but could be great if they fix that. Overall I am very happy with these units so far.

my gas dryer doesnt make any noise very quiet but bery efficient

I have a small laundry closet and this dryer is part of the stacked laundry combo I have. It sits on top of the washer. The dryer works well and I appreciate all the settings it has. It is not noisy but does tend to vibrate a bit in parts of the drying cycle.

I've been able to leave the dryer running and come back hours later and find that my clothes are not wrinkled. I also like the Sanitize feature to use on pillows and other bedding.

We looked at many different models and wanted to upgrade from our 15 year old Kenmore that finally bit the dust. This dryer looks beautiful and the display panels lighting are nice and bright so you can quickly glance at your settings and the functions are easily navigable. The fit and finish appears top notch and it operates quietly. Unlike the complaints we heard from other brands. Best Buy Delivery was great as usual. Now for the not so great part of this review. We purchased this dryer 05/14/2019. About 3 weeks in, my wife noticed an error code of E3F3 and she did some troubleshooting that recommended we unplug the unit for 30 minutes to reset the circuit. That did not seem to fix the issue. We had gone on vacation and hoped the dryer had gotten past the error issues upon our return. Unfortunately it had not. The dryer will still operate using a “regular““normal” cycle but the error code is tripped if one of the many other settings are selected. I have since contacted whirpool and have a service technician scheduled to come out and see what the issue is. I will follow up and update this reviewwjrm the issue is resolved. I’m looking forward to seeing this dryer function as it should.

Drys well and easy to use and is pretty quiet when using

Love it! It fits so many more clothes and makes laundry days a lot faster and easier. I am so glad that we decided to purchase this when we bought our new home. I absolutely love it and I love that it has so many different drying options and drys everything so quickly! The vent for the lint is also super easy to clean!

Great dryer, loved the ease of use. The controls are simple easy figure exactly what you need. Quiet too. We did return it however, because the matching washer wasn’t well suited for an upstairs laundry room. Vibration and shaking was excessive in the washer and we wanted a matching pair. I was very disappointed to return the dryer!

Quiet, efficient and works well. I installed myself as the order did not arrive with the paid for stacking kit. The machine is great and will be used in my business. It took a few calls to get my credit for the kit but everyone I spoke with at BB was helpful.

This is a great dryer. I whish I had a light like my last one though. It is great that it does not over dry clothes.

We checked out all of the big box retailers and decided to purchase the Washer & Dryer from Best Buy and we have not regretted it. The features on the both the washer & dryer exceed our needs but someday they may come in handy. The clothes are less wrinkled than before which is very nice and both W&D are very quiet. There's a countdown timer on display so you can make a stay or go decision if you have clothes in the dryer. The service was prompt with addressing a couple of small issues. We also requested a price adjustments to price match a lower price. Best Buy will pleasantly address as long as the request is within the 30 day purchase window which we did. I am confident we will purchase our other appliances from Best Buy and it is time to replace them all.
