It's exactly the same remote as when I purchased my tv and I love my replacement remote! You don't have to do a thing to it just put in the batteries and viola it works perfect.

I work except I could not get the closed captions from it so I return it. I didn’t have the right tv set to go with it. It is a good buy with the right tv set.
