More than just "tracking steps"

This is a great tool for anyone looking to improve even just one aspect of their well-being. These are some of the key attributes of the Pulse that I've found helpful as well as some limitations:
- Sleek, light, wearable in multiple ways and easy to use.
- The down side to being light and un-noticeable at times is that I seem to forgot that I'm wearing it or that I had it on me during the day...after its gone into the wash
- Not waterproof; this can be a problem if you're using it while working out and did not use the "provided" clip (though the clip does help so "moisture" doesn't get into the charging port, its not a catch all)
- Tracking is effortless...after initial setup
- Interactive; my wife and I have been comparing our sleeping habits and have started challenging each other on the steps we're taking in a day
- Connectivity; slight issues keeping track of sleep with 2 monitors. Some days it seemed that it was tracking the other's movements and not our own. Also at times it seems that "steps" can be lost...if I was at "2000" and I walked for 10 minutes, I was still sometimes at "2000" or "2003."
- App is easy to use
- Accessories are pretty nice, but on the pricer side after you've already purchased the Pulse. We've only used the wireless body monitor/scale which was amazing but returned it because we didn't really utilize all the features it had.

Step and sleep tracking work well and the heart rate monitor is nice, though you have to remove the tracker from the band to use it so it won't monitor in real time throughout your workout.
I have had a few issues with maintaining sync between the device and my Samsung smartphone. Eventually I just synced it with my iPad Mini and it has been fine since then.

The Withings Pulse activity tracker is accurate, small, and informative just by itself. The sleep tracking function is particularly interesting. With the companion HealthMate App on your computer or smartphone, you can track a whole range of activities beyond steps and sleep. The app prepares logical graphs showing historical trends. Bluetooth connectivity and good battery life with quick recharge.

I have been using the withings pulse for over a month now and I love it! It really does keep track of everything. I like how you're able to sync through Bluetooth and how it even tracks elevations/heart rate and your sleep pattern. I have been able to notice through the withings app how I've been sleeping, how much actual sleep I'm getting and how it turns all of your stats into a chart/graph. My only problem with the pulse itself was the wristband. I think i might have had it on too tight so I ended up getting a slight rash on my wrist. I just used some a & d ointment and was good add new. That problem was solved by using the extra attachment included in the package that you can put on your hip or shoelaces. Now I only wear the wristband when sleeping or lifting weights. I also don't like how the withings app doesn't track your calories burned which should be on your dashboard. Hopefully they change that in the future. Other than those 2 issues it is great tracker. Just make sure you clean the wristband everyday. I haven't had any problems when I keep it sanitized. Lesson learned! I would give it 5 stars if I never got the rash and if they would make the calories burned a part of your statistics when you sync to the app.

I'm very pleased with this device. I had a Fitbit but it seemed I was charging it every other day and I couldn't believe the numbers it was giving me. This device holds a charge really well, the numbers are credible, and it's really a pleasure to wear. The only thing I miss is it being waterproof like the Fitbit. Would love to not have to take it off to shower. Other than that, very pleased.

This watch has a long battery life, it has a time feature, takes heart rate, sleep function, steps, distance, calories burned etc. The removable face is great so you can clip it to your belt if you don't want to wear it as a watch.
Syncs easily to phone. Great purchase for the beginner fitness enthusiast.

I originally went in to buy a Polar watch but, after spending about an hour in the store I decided on getting this one. It has everything that I wanted, the heart rate monitor and the oxygen level checker works great. The step counter is very accurate and the calories counter is an amazing addition, especially if you log your calories as I do. The sleep feature has been pretty amazing, I like seeing how well I've slept after awaking each morning.
Also, the band is very comfortable so at times I forget that I'm even wearing a watch. The app is a HUGE help being able to see all of your activity in one place! So, obviously I'd definitely recommend this. My boyfriend actually plans to buy one for himself soon.

This device helps you get track of your goals and I love that it can monitor your sleep patterns. We bought the blood pressure cuff and the scale too. I wish it was water resistant thou. I forgot that it was on wrist and broke the first one.

This is my second Pulse O2 (first one worked great, but I unfortunately lost it). It stays secure (I lost it by leaving it somewhere), functions smoothly and intuitively, and provides great feedback. I need the O2 in particular and find it very accurate (against professional equipment at a pulmonologist's office). I also have the Withings scale/body analyzer and blood pressure cuff. Nice suite of products and nice software management interface.

This product provides many functions in one very small package. I purchased this because I needed a compact pulse oximeter which I could have with me at all times, but my regular pulse ox was not compact enough. Not only does it work great as a compact pulse oximeter, it also tracks your steps, elevation, calories burned, and even functions as a sleep monitor! Great value, compact size, the app is very helpful for tracking trends, also.

Works well...with one caveat

Works as expected and seems to be very accurate as far as I can tell, particularly on step counts. Sleep monitoring is very interesting. The one caveat is that when using the clip instead of the wristband, it inadvertently pops out without warning on several occasions...to the point where I will not use that anymore, which is a shame because I don't always want something on my wrist. I saw on an Amazon review that someone else had this issue and lost their Pulse! This needs to be resolved.
Otherwise, a great and light device.

Great basic tracker! I do not use the wrist band, I pretty much carry it in my pocket all the time. I really bought this item because it had the ability to be worn on your wrist or on a clip… I only use the clip if only if I have no pockets - It can be clipped on a pair of running shorts. I like the fact that it can be dropped into your pocket because I am not a Watch Person. The charge lasts two weeks.
I have other Withings products - the scale is great too! Both of these items work nicely with their software.

Purchased for my husband who doesn't like wearing wristbands, this little device can be worn multiple ways. It syncs perfectly with Apple's HealthKit App, which was a major reason for choosing it. It does not duplicate data collected with an iPhone like other fitness trackers. It also measures pulse and oxygen levels and can be worn at night to track sleep cycles.

This product did everything it stated it would, yet it was annoying to use. The device itself had to be taken out of the wareable sleeve to measure heart rate and o2 and for the o2 sensor it was very temperamental only getting readings half the time. The interface always displayed the amount of steps taken first so when you wanted to see the time, you had to push the button on top several times to see the time. The watch band was made out of a material that attracted dirt. The app was really easy to use and had a good display. I ended up returning the product because my phone did all of the same features except the sleep tracker, so to me it wasn't worth the amount of money I had paid.

I am really excited about this because I already own the BP sleeve and the scale. The Heart function is spot on and easy to use! The steps are accurate but the milage seems a little off. I am pleased over all and I continue to use this tool. However I wonder, other than monitoring the information what am I to now do with this knowledge? Over all if you are interested in qualifying your daily activity. This is the tool for you. I don't wear the watch but simply slip it in my pocket.

I've had my Pulse O2 for over a month now and it's worked well so far. I like the display, which I find easy to read except in direct sunlight. I got the device primarily as a pedometer and for sleep tracking. The heart rate monitor is nice, but I don't use it often. The run mode, which I did not see mentioned in the manual, is a nice feature. The fact that I can wear it on my wrist or waistband is convenient. I did have to "reset" the tracker a couple times, the procedure for which is also missing from the manual (long press the physical button). The micro USB port is exposed to sweat and water when wearing on the wrist, so I found some port covers online very cheap and use one to cover the port. No resets since I started doing that. This is my first wearable fitness tracker, so I have no basis to compare it to any other device, and there are many. Overall, I really like the Withings Pulse O2.

about the same as a fitbit

I got this as an alternative to my fitbit one. It does pulse ox & the fitbit one doesn't. I'm an asthmatic so pulse ox was of some interest to me. The withing step count is considerably less than that recorded by my fitbit even though I wear them right next to each other. the pulse ox meter can be a little tricky depending upon how I hold it on my finger. but the night band is much better for the Withings, so I clip my fitbit to it as well. The Withings app for iphone is also a little more informative. I'm using them both because I like the combination. I am a little annoyed by the "you did x number of steps and you could do better" notifications but that's a personal thing.

This is actually my second Pulse, but the first Pulse O2. The first one I have had for over 2 years - thought I had lost it but later found it in my car. Love the upgrade to O2! Charge lasts over a week. Seamlessly syncs with my iPhone along with other Withings products. I also have the blood pressure monitor and body scale. A full set to ensure that I stay active, get great sleep and stay healthy!

I tried several top selling fitness trackers but none measured oxygen level and many didn't measure heart rate or sleeping. The Withings does it all! A nice bonus is that the price is lower than the better known ones. I am very satisfied. It comes with a band and a slide on clip that stays put always. If you want the best, get the Withings Pulse O2 Tracker!
