Liked the Medusa special effects. Intresting stoty

Great average movie, but needs better special effects.

I bought this by mistake,yo. I thought it was Clash of the Titans. It's not . No Krakken in this one. It wasn't awful but in my opinion not as good as Clash.

Not really a very good movie. Thought for $5, what the heck. Would have been ok for $2.

The 3D effects were good. Story was ok not as good as the first one. Didn't really like cronos at the end. Thought it was a bit cheesy.

Not as god as the first, but watchable. Steelbook is good for the collection.

The steelbook has awesome artwork, too the movie itself is garbage.

It'd be difficult to approach Wrath of the Titans with a completely open mind. The film it follows, Clash of the Titans, was dull and almost single-handedly began the downfall of 3D in the US. Those low expectations though may actually be an advantage for Wrath. Though flawed it's an entertaining film with some spectacular special effects. Even more surprising - the 3D is worthwhile and enhances the experience. The story follows Perseus (Sam Worthington) who must travel into the underworld to rescue his father Zeus (Liam Neeson). Zeus' other son Ares (Edgar Ramirez) has turned on him and handed him over to Hades (Ralph Fiennes). The plan is to sap Zeus' powers and transfer them to the leader of the imprisoned Titans - Kronos - (father to Zeus, Hades, and Poseiden) who would then unleash hell on the world. Where the negativity towards Clash really makes an impact is in the early minutes of Wrath. There is no real emotional attachment to the characters - no real care for their fates or the conflicts that are at hand. I wasn't sure the film would be able to break out of that but it somehow did despite inherent confusion around their relationships and motivations without having Clash's plot fresh on the mind. It just took a little time for it to come together.

This was in my opinion, better than the first as far as visual, directing and plot. The 3d was immersive, even for a conversion, this was top notch. Lots of great depth and quite a few pop outs. The plot was better, not academy award winning, but good enough for a popcorn movie. The characters played their parts great throughout the movie and the each held there own to carry the movie. The best part was climatic battle scene which left me in awe and should be seen in awesome 3d.

Many compare it to Clash Of The Titans but shouldn't. This movie, like many others never shouldn't be compared to anything but itself. It should stand on its own merit which it does admirably. So far I've seen it three times and it get better each time. Sometimes seeing a movie your expectations are not met, thus you think it's a bad sequel. Just clear your head of what was and concentrate on what is, and you'll enjoy this movie as much as a do. It's worth buying.

I like greek mythology movies so I am always looking to purchase movies of this genre. Overall this movie was better than I expected. Alot of action and the storyline was actually pretty good. If you like this movie you should also watch clash of the titans.

Typical Titans movie with great special effects and tons of action. If you enjoyed the first one then you will like this one too. Only negative would be that it seemed to not last long enough, as though parts were cut out.

Great movie. I think they did a good job transitioning from the last movie. This movie had a lot of AWESOME action scenes. Lots of explosions. Acting was pretty good too. Definitely recommend this movie.
