This Hisense Canvas TV has completely changed how my space feels. It’s not just a television, it’s a statement piece. When it’s mounted on the wall, it genuinely looks like art, the kind that makes people pause, look twice, and ask questions. Guests are always intrigued, and the moment I reveal it’s actually a TV, the reaction is pure amazement. The design is sleek and refined, blending effortlessly into my décor. Instead of a black screen dominating the room, I now have a living canvas that adds character and creativity to my wall. The artwork display is stunning, with rich colors and fine detail that truly mimics a framed piece. When it is time to watch something, the quality is just as impressive. The picture is crisp, vibrant, and immersive, with excellent contrast and clarity. It delivers both beauty and performance without compromise. What I love most is how the Hisense Canvas TV elevates the entire room. It feels intentional, artistic, and modern, perfect for anyone who values design as much as technology. This TV doesn’t just entertain; it inspires.

Hisense Canvas TV 55” (2024) is a great option for those of us looking for a frame type tv. The artwork mode is so good that when I looked for a pic in my phone’s photo library using the search field prompt “painting” the 2nd upload is what came up! Type in television and the first uploaded photo came up. The magnetic frame aesthetic in teak with the included flush wall mount help complete the illusion that you’re looking at artwork instead of a TV. The screen’s matte finish goes great with the free digital artwork Hisense furnishes with the purchase of your TV. NO SUBSCRIPTION FEES unlike the Samsung Frame TVs requires for their artwork access. The instillation went smoothly and if you have experience hanging TVs this should be no sweat for you. One thing to keep in mind is that the power cable and any subsequent cable connections like HDMI for instance will need to be recessed to maintain the flushed mount. This is important if you want the ability to toggle between flatscreen TV and a painting hanging on the wall. If the TV isn’t flush against the wall then you might as well save some money and get a normal flat screen. I went from an 85” Samsung TV that’s about 6 years old to the Hisense Canvas 55”. Bigger isn’t always better and the 55” fits nicely over the fireplace. We live in southern Florida and won’t be using the fireplace for anything other than candles unless something crazy happens so the TV won’t be exposed to excessive heat. All in all, I’m loving the Canvas TV! We have gotten many compliments on the TV and on the paintings while in artwork mode. The Google powered interface is easy to use and very intuitive. It also pairs easily with Amazon Echo for voice commands when you’re away from the remote control. The picture is vibrant and beautiful when I’m looking at a Van Gogh or just watching Netflix. Finally the Hisense Canvas is less expensive than the Samsung Frame and doesn’t have that bulking connector box to deal with. PS: I bought from Best Buy, delivered, and installed the Canvas tv 100% by myself.

So far the TV is good. The pros are great picture and the Matt screen with artwork on it is great to look at! The super thin design and included mounting bracket is what sold me and they work great. The cons are: the dimensions advertised are at best misleading and at worst outright wrong, which creates big issues in the remodel I was doing for a neighbor with this TV as a built in. The remote setup and menus in general feel awkward and somewhat unlike other TVs I have set up. Sound is bad, but I wasn’t expecting good sound so I don’t take away rating for that.

I have been waiting since the day this product was announced to purchase it as I have been thinking about getting Samsungs competing product, but hate the fact you have to subscribe to get more art and the fact it was pretty spendy for what you get. I have had Hisense before and am a fan so the very first day the 55 went on sale I purchased it. It was delivered a few days later and I got it on the wall. The 55 was the biggest I could fit flush against my wall and we are downsizing from a 65 so I was a little worried it would look too small. I am pleased with the size and even more please at the anti glare screen. We have huge windows behind the tv and have been fighting glare for years. As you can see in the pictures, glare is non existant, if it wasnt as cool looking as it is, the anti glare is worth it on its own. The art is stunning and the google tv is a good smart system, I havent used it yet on this tv as I just got it hung, but I have experience with it and like it. There are some drawbacks on the installation. All of the cables are routed out of the bottom of the tv, why would they design this so the cables could be visible when that defeats the purpose of it looking like art? There is a small indentation in the back of the tv deep enough for the cables to fit without pushing the tv forward, I have a recessed box for my power and HDMI cable, but I had to lift the tv so that some of that recessed part of the tv overlapped the recessed box in my wall. this cause me to have to raise the tv a bit more than I wanted. If you are planning to have the cables hidden, it is imperative you have a recessed are for power and connections or you can kiss the flush mounting good bye. Even with the recessed, trying to get the cables to sit right took me and my daughter with small hands to get behind there and route the cables. As you can see in the photos, it is perfectly flush. You can set the arework to rotate every 5, 10, 60 min etc or sit on the same one until you choose he next one. You can tell it how long to wait before going to sleep if no one is in the room, you can set do not disturb times where it will not come on if someone is detected. Its a cool product and I am glad I waited for the Hisense.

The Canvas Art TV 55" has excellent picture quality, with sharp details and rich color that make movies and shows look fantastic. The screen does an impressive job reducing reflections and glare from lamps and windows, so it is much easier on the eyes in a bright room. The multiple brightness and picture mode controls make the TV highly customizable, so it is simple to adjust the image to suit different times of day or types of content. The built-in gallery of artwork is especially pleasing and truly transforms the screen into a digital painting when you are not watching TV. Overall, this TV feels like both a high-quality display and a piece of decor, adding a lovely, sophisticated touch to any room in the house.

First, we got this type of television because we wanted to hang it in our living room and it substitute for a piece of art if we weren’t watching TV on it… It has fulfilled that purpose amazingly. I have not owned the TVs long enough to do a longevity review, but first impressions: great price versus other picture frame TVs, excellent picture quality, excellent sound… These were cheaper than the TCL‘s, far cheaper than the Samsung and I can’t really say that there’s much quality difference (could be my unsophisticated eyes). This is just my experience so far… But we’ve had one of them for over three months and it’s been fantastic!

This canvas tv is so beautiful. I absolutely love the different portraits but my all time favorite is being able to create your own gallery of portraits

This an awesome TV and exceeded my expectations! The remote is great an operation is smooth. I was able to add the Pandora app and can play music with any art. You can also BT your phone or tablet. Overall we love it and are thinking about a purchase of another one. No subscriptions for art which is a huge plus for me. We were looking at the Samsung but settled on the Hisense for this reason. You will need two people if you decide to hang on the wall. We intend to make a frame. From the nearly 1000 pictures to choose from we found several that are seasonal for the Christmas season.

We’ve had this unit a little over a year. It works well and the picture is ok, though it suffers shadows in very dark scenes. We wall-mounted ours and the rear channels are very shallow and not large enough for the cables if you’re using all the inputs - and I even used low-profile and thin versions when available. The internal graphics processor is “meh” and the main processor is glitchy. We often have to hard close apps because they’re not working correctly. We’ve also had issues with log-in/password management and a few apps require log-in at every open. Overall, it’s a nice secondary/bedroom TV but there are better primary TV options. We will probably replace this as our living room unit in another few months and put this in the guest room.

Beautiful Tv and piece of art!! I absolutely love the look of this television on the wall. It is stunning . Tons of great features I am still learning about like playing music in art mode. I love how beautiful it looks in the frame without ruining the aesthetic of my living room. Many people think it is art until you tell them otherwise.

We were debating between this and the Samsung frame and I’m so glad we picked the Hiscense. It doesn’t have a big bulky box to hide, just a thin white plug that’s easy enough to disguise. We don’t use a lot of extra connections so this was perfect for us. Looks like one of those backlit art boxes, blends in with the rest of the decor

Great Tv, there are plenty of options for different pictures. You are able to add your own pictures if you’d like. Picture quality is very good. Overall, I would recommend this tv. I also like the option you could pick between different molding trims.

I purchased this TV for my study, and it fools everyone as art. TV is matted and adding a border help. It does well as a TV and Google TV application is a winner. We were so impressed I convinced my wife to add one in the master bedroom...yes! She is incorporating it with other art. Please note it does come with wall hanging bracket and a wide frame that bring more realism as art. Overall very satisfied.

This TV has been what I was expecting. Great product. The software updates continue to make it a better product. No reflective so the glare that used to be on my TV is now gone. Also motion sensing so the artwork will auto-turn off if no one is in the room.

Love the ease to hang and picture quality for the money. I hung this is my wine/bourbon room to watch sporting events while entertaining, yet when not in use looks like a piece of art. Great value

The Hisense Canvas was easy to install using the wall mount. The picture is great. The sound is surprisingly much better than I expected from such a thin TV.

Bought as a gift to myself and have loved it from the minute it was mounted! Great picture! Ease of setup! The bonus is the included frame! Buy of the year for our household!

Easy installation, great picture quality, and it's thin! I like how dim the screen can become while in art mode and that it comes with a frame of of the box. The sound quality is better than expected, although I'm still using a soundbar. It's also nice to have the TV higher up the wall so that my dog can't sneeze on it.

Great tv! We bought more so for decoration and ended up using this tv more than any other set in our home.
