Upgraded from 3060 Ti and it’s a solid GPU Mostly play COD and Warzone, WoW, and some 1st person story mode games 1440p, using 5800x3D, this combo is more than enough to play everything on max settings. Averaging 130-240 FPS depending on game For the price of $800 at time of this writing, it’s reasonable deal. If you play on 4K, go for the XTX version

    Great card, horrible coil whine

This card was amazing, upgraded from a 3060ti because i wanted to utilize a 2k ultrawide monitor and loved the performance of this card. Also this card was one of the only all black cards with no rgb (don’t want any more rgb software) that would match my case and desk astetic perfectly. Unfortunately the coil whine on this reference card was the worst I’ve ever heard. Checked out reviews and saw so many tech channels mention coil whine being an issue and for the price I just didn’t want to commit to wearing headphones 100% off the time to keep me from being annoyed. If you do get it, just make sure this isn’t an issue for you. Returned it, may get a 4070ti but not really sold on the 12gb vram.

This is a great card. Switching from a 2070Super it’s hands down awesome. My pc specs are B450 MSI tomahawk, 3700x 34gb at 3400mhz, 850 watt Thermaltake power supply. So far at the time of writing my three current games I tested are GTA5, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Witcher 3 (updated version) All games on ultra max setting 1440p (no ray tracings) are as follows GTA5 110 FPS, RDR 2 100 FPS, Witcher 3 120 FPS. The next games are ultra max setting with ray tracing on: RDR 2 is 65 FPS. Witcher 3 is 70fps. Yeah, it’s not a ray tracing machine but honestly it looks good even with out ray tracing. My 2070S comparison where on ultra max settings are as followed. GTA 5 50 FPS, RDR 2 50fps, Witcher 75 FPS. Ray tracing on ultra max setting unplayable 30-40 FPS. Had to about two notches down from ultra max to reach 60+ fps on 1440p.

This is a great card for the value. I upgraded from a 1050 ti, and I must say it's a night an day difference. I personally love the design of the AMD reference variant. I went for a zero rgb build and this one is very sleak. I can get 120 fps on cyberpunk on high and 1440p. Price for performance is really up there too unless ray tracing is a deal breaker. It doesn't seem to handle it compared to Nvidia cards. Overally highly recommend!

This graphics card is an amazing one. Provides great FPS for video games and quick rendering while editing video. The fans allow great cooling and the USB C ports provide an amazing output. I like the time AMD to design this card. Great quality. Very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic rasterization performance and pretty respectable RTX performance relative to the price tier. I'll take better performance in most games I play over an nVidia card at a similar price range any day since competitive shooters don't use ray tracing. Card is also small enough to fit into my micro-atx small form factor PC.

really wanted to go all red this generation, the card is beautiful don’t get me wrong and feels quality. However I had a lot of coil wine and got black screens quite a few times when starting games, also tried a new game” Hello neighbor 2” and for some reason the card dropped to 5-10 fps in cutscenes. I just didn’t want a card that screeched at me constantly and wasn’t optimized for launch. Retuned it and got a 4080, really hope next gen amd is better and has better ray tracing.

This card performs exactly as expected. Installation was easy if you have ever installed a graphics card. If not, there are plenty of YouTube videos on it. This is a reference card so there is no RGB and very little color on the backplate. It is a short card so there is no GPU sag.

Good card for the price and being top of the line at purchase. After 6 months still working but beware Radeon drivers are no were near as great as Nvidia. Best thing about the card is it still fits in mid size cases were most newer cards are a lot bigger then older models.

Upgraded from a 5700xt, which I didn't feel as it was needed but I was building my wife a new pc and decided to give her my old GPU. I play at 1440p on a 27in monitor. My build: Ryzen 5900x 48 GB 3200 RAM 750w PSU Performance: Quick note to compare the two gpus above in case others are in a similar situation (thinking about upgrading from 5700xt or something similar) from a performance perspective it's not worth it IMO at 1440p there is a difference of about 20fps but that's coming from 70-80 fps to start with. This is in games like Hogwarts legacy, Witcher 3, etc. Cyberpunk was an exception I went from 55 fps to 110 with this upgrade, so there's that. The biggest thing to note when comparing this card to earlier amd cards is ray tracing, this thing can do ray tracing with the settings cranked up pretty high. With everything maxed in cyberpunk it gets 55fps, a few tweaks on the RT options easily outputs 80fps with little noticeable differences in quality. I'm currently playing Metro exodus and get 90fps with RT on. This thing can perform well with raytracing and if you don't care to use RT then it's even better. Easily averaging over 100fps in every game I've tried. Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, God of War, etc. From a performance perspective I do think it's a little pricey when you could get something like the 6800xt for almost 300 bucks less. But you would be missing out on the increased performance for Raytracing. Heat: (All temps are hotspot temps) I'll use my 5700xt as a comparison. I had the sapphire nitro+ edition (one of, if not the coolest verisons of the 5700xt) and this thing not only performes better but also runs cooler. The 5700xt I had would sit at around 100-105C with most demanding games. The 7900xt sits at a comfortable 80-90C. The 5700xt felt as though I was always fighting to keep the temps down, that's not true for this card. I will note that I got a new case as well with fans facing the gpu intake as you can see in the picture, so that is something to keep in mind. Non gaming: I do 3d modeling and video game design, Honestly I don't see much difference between the two cards. From my understanding that kind of software are way more reliant on cpu anyway but it's something to note. The coil whine - the reason I took a star off of this review. Yes, it is there, yes, it is loud. Now my understanding is that it's a bit of a luck thing, maybe you get the same card and it has no whine. But if you have a card that whines, it is defiantly noticeable. Now I have top notch headphones, sony mh-xm4s with noise canceling that I wear whenever I use my computer, so it doesn't bother me that much. If you don't wear headphones, I wouldn't suggest buying this card unless you sit far away from your computer or noise doesn't bother you. I did consider returning it but as I said, I always wear headphones, so I let it slide. Oh, I forgot to mention this thing makes NOISE EVEN AT LOW USAGE. Right now, I only have my browser open, and I can hear it.

I've been working building computers for over 25 years, I've used various types of GPU, from the reasonable ones to the best, but I have to say something about this XFX rx 7900xt video card, it's an exceptional video card, for the price. and quality, both in performance and for video rendering, and of course for video games, I really like Nvidia's video cards, but I confess that AMD got it right with the Series 7000 Video card, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of The best in price and quality, of course there are varying opinions, but for me it is the best in this category.

Performance is top notch. If you have an HDR monitor or TV you will not be disappointed. Ray tracing is a bit hampered but I'm more interested in vivid color and great performance and not so interested in if a scene is lit dynamically or not. Most games have great static world lighting. Also, RT will improve with drivers. When viewed in that "light" I am very satisfied with the performance to price ratio. Granted all video card prices went to a whole new planet this round. But I'm hoping this will keep me happy for a couple years and then get repurposed to a secondary PC for another bunch of years. Handling AAA games with 100 or better FPS.

Love this graphics card. I upgraded from an Nvidia RTX 3070ti and the difference is amazing. The card is a lot smaller than the 3070ti as well. The cooler works well, and the fans are not loud at all at full tilt. The aesthetic is nice as well. Completely blacked out. No RGB, or lights at all. Not even the Radeon logo lights up.

I’ll keep it short and sweet. If you want to max out most every game currently available at 1440p 100+ FPS then this is the card! It does a decent job with ray tracing and in my opinion FSR 2.0 with AMD image sharpening is superior to DLSS (at the moment). Fans are super quiet! There were a couple of caveats of course. AMDs early drivers for the 7000 series are hit or miss so make sure you try earlier drivers if your card doesn’t seem to perform up to par. Lastly there was a bit of coil whine on my unit (which seems to happen on every other GPU I’ve purchased over the last decade). If it wasn’t for the drivers this card would be a 5 all day!
