I love this lock. It makes me feel secure I can check any time to make sure that my door is closed and locked . Easy to install. I can have someone come over and unlock the door when they get there and make sure it is secure when they leave all from my phone.

Love this lock and great functionality. Paired with the August bridge product and app is where I run into a few issues. Sometimes the August bridge disconnects from the wifi for no reason even if the wifi didn’t go down. Sometimes you have to restart the entire pairing process of the bridge to the lock to correct that issue and it doesn’t pair easily all the time. Doesn’t happen often but annoying when it does. Once had the lock forget a password. Recommend making a few passwords in case this happens to you. All these issues are related to the August product however, not the lock itself.

I am SO glad we got this. My son is able to get into the house after getting off the bus. No keys to keep up with and it auto locks behind him. Had a little trouble installing it (hardware wise) but software setup was easy.

works great for what I needed which is being able to lock and unlock my door from my phone and being able to allow others access with a pin that can be erased if needed. looks nice and works as described!

I have a lot of new and connected technology in my house and wanted to try out an electronic door lock. I opted for this Yale because I thought I had read that it had proximity capability and only realized after install that it does not. It’s great looking, easy to install and easy to use though if you want to be able to walk up to your door and have it Auto Unlock, you need to buy a different model.

I just moved and always liked the idea of having a deadbolt with a keypad. I give my close friends and family their own codes so I don't have to worry about giving out a key. It's easy to install and works like a charm. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because when you add codes you can't assign names to them and you can only have remote access to this lock if you have a HomeKit hub like a new AppleTV.

Be sure lock opens and closes freely. Every function worked worked flawlessly! Needs a good WiFi connection. Keep a backup battery readily available in case batteries fail.

This lock is smooth and secure with easy installation works great with HomeKit. Wish it could work with both HomeKit and other ecosystems at the same time

This lock is easy to install. It looks great on your door. The auto lock feature lock the door as you walk away. Great produce

I did not have an existing deadbolt, so before I installed this one, I put the product together, not on a door, to make sure it would work as I expected. It did so I then did the handyman work on the door of drilling holes, etc. After installing the lock, I went through the process of resetting the lock so I could go through its initial calibration. That part went ok. But when it got to inserting the WIFI card to connect to wifi for HomeKit, I couldn't get it to connect to wifi again. I went through a series of resetting, setup, inserting/removing the wifi card. It took a combination of changing the order of each step to make it work correctly. So that part was annoying. But probably if I never set it up before I actually installed it, I could have avoided the problem. Now it works great. No issues with it not responding or disconnecting. It doesn't work instantaneously when sending the command to lock/unlock. I've had various results. Usually between 5 and 30 seconds. Overall I like it and would recommend it.

Was kind of nervous going to a keyless door lock! It's nice that Yale gives you an option to open the door with a 9v battery, if your, in lock batteries die. Easy to install! One thing that you should know! If you have 2 or more of these locks like I do, you cannot use their app to unlock/lock more than one of them. You have to use a second party app like apple home. The second one just will not connect. Contacting their service for help was some what horrid, but got the job done

This is a high quality lock system. It’s heavy, and easy to use. It was also easy to install, both through the hardware and software/app. However, it does not work with Amazon Alexa and I do feel it’s a bit overpriced at about $200, and are the reasons for a 4/5 instead of a 5/5.

Very easy set up, no hub required for wireless. I love that you can use the code or your device to unlock. Works great with Apple Home and easy to lock and unlock even when away from home. It’s nice that I don’t have to worry about the kids loosing their keys or me having to run home and let them in when they forget the keys. Even if I have someone stopping by to grab something or feed my pets I can just unlock the door for them from anywhere.

I have to say installing this was a breaze. A non skilled person can put this in in less than an hour. I found a few videos showing programming it. I haven’t been as successful with the app and programming my phone or Alexa to it or it would be a five star.

Great value and Best Buy matched online price. Looks great. Batteries drain VERY quickly, standard and rechargeable. Wi-fi bridge disconnects often. App interconnectivity is excellent and responsive.

I love the lock love how it looks but I would recommend getting someone to install it for you. If you don’t expect a long time trying to connect it to WiFi and set it up

I love using my iPhone to open and close the door. Installation took 5 minutes.
