I could not be more pleased with this Yamaha integrated amp. The DAC sounds good as does the phono preamp. Has all the streaming and AirPlay, Bluetooth features. FM tuner is on the mark. The pure direct mode is striking. The room analysis mic and DSP is helpful and the Yamaha MusicCast app is really thoughtful and useful. Buy it Buy it.

I bought the R-N803 to replace a low end Yamaha surround sound amp. I had installed 2 additional Klipsch speakers for a bigger sound, but my current amp fell short with 4 speakers. The R-N803 has a feature that allows A or B speakers and A+B speakers which is the option I chose. The R-N803 also has the YPOA which I used and became a believer in volume/treble/bass and subwoofer balance. I repeated this step several times resulting in a true balance of all the acoustic variables. I paired an iPod Touch with the amp Bluetooth and the sound is very satisfying at low volumes and clear and strong when loud as I enjoy it most. The R-N803 has the power to rock you. I am very happy with this amp.

This receiver is amazing, it is wi fi ready and with the app you can totally control it. It has plenty of power to push any speakers.

I am convinced that Best Buy ships faulty items that have previously been returned. This is the third item that was an open box and did not work I had to return

First real stereo equipment purchased in over 40 years. After running about 60ft of speaker cable and following the user guide for setup it's been wonderful, powers my Klipsch RP speakers well above any volume I would normally use without distortion.. Musiccast has worked flawlessly as well.. the Bluetooth transmission to my wireless phones could be stronger but is sufficient if I stay near the receiver, and most of the other models won't even do it. Used the YPAO to maximize speaker performance and it does make a slight difference. The Sirius and Pandora connects worked as advertised. Still learning some of the options and best settings, but for the money spent (and it isn't cheap) I'm very satisfied with my rn-803.
