I now have 6 of the Ring Spotlight Cam Wired installed on my house plus the Video Doorbell Pro. These cameras have great video quality & sound. I like that I can save the video clips directly to my camera roll using the Ring App on my iPhone & Mac Computer. I like that you can disable the Led light from coming on when the camera detects motion which is a feature of the wired cam only. Having it record audio is great. Plus it has two-way audio so you can speak to whoever you see outside your house. I had a wired camera system but the Ring Cameras are so much better with quality & ease of use. Definitely recommend for protecting your home.
Really needed this for piece of mind on our trip to Oklahoma. When I'm home the notifications are nearly seconds apart. So I know I'm getting the fastest and reliable security notification to protect my home! Installation was very simple and easy to follow. Very VERY pleased with this product!
Have been using the Ring Spotlight Cameras for over a year now and needed another one to add more coverage. They are easy to initiate and set-up using the Ring App. I have a protect plus plan so warranty is covered for the long term use I plan on. I like the 60s snapshot feature. They are easy to adjust for sensitivity and area coverage.
We recently had 3 Ring exterior spotlights installed on our home. We were surprised at how well the clarity and response time these cameras provide. They are 1080p and the picture looks fantastically clear! We tried them on a recommendation from a friend who had 3 cameras displaying 4K pics. These are just as good and the subscription to ring for monitoring is cheap! Getcha self some!
I get constant ghosting during nighttime hours. The rimg stickup cam is much better. Also the camera didnt even allow me to watch live as my dogs were barking and wife entered the door. That could’ve been anyone.

The quickest way to speed up Live View is to start using our Rapid Ring app. This new app is intended to connect you to your video events in a much quicker way than before. To download the Rapid Ring app, please visit the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Once there, search for Rapid Ring and click on the blue logo with the white bell. Please note, you’ll still need the original Ring app to make device changes and view video recordings. If your experience doesn’t improve, please test the internet connection between your router and the Ring app. Below is an article that goes into more detail: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020638172-Test-Your-Wifi-Connections.

This camera is super easy to install and works very well in conjunction with our Ring doorbell camera. Installation took less than 15 minutes and the camera has a fantastic field of view with great resolution. The siren and floodlight are very nice, especially when you have to scare away critters in the night.
This is the second camera I bought like this. I can turn the light on when I want. The camera covers a large area. I have a big backyard. It was easy to install and it plugs right into an outlet. I can monitor my yard and pool service from my phone or iPad. I recorded a lot of wildlife that shows up too. I am hoping to catch the varmints that are invading my garden.
I have had this camera up for about a month now, and I really love it. I have it on my back patio and can see every door on the patio. It rings when someone walks by. Although I have it on people only, it does ring when my cat goes out, but the picture is very clear. I am going to get one for the front of the house as well.

A:AnswerYes it can if you cut off the factory three prong cord leaving just a few inches. You should get the ring duel spotlight cam that can mount to any standard outside fixture box. The wires of the spotlight cam are already in the configuration you desire.
A:AnswerWithout Ring Video Recording (Protect Plan), you will still receive alerts, and you’ll still get live streaming video and two-way audio, so you can see, hear and speak to guests in real-time, as the event is happening. However, if you don’t have Ring Video Recording (Protect Plan) and you miss an alert or a live event, you will not be able to review the video. Ring Video Recording (Protect Plan) will save all of your recordings to your Ring account for up to 60 days, and with Ring Video Recording, you can also review the videos, download them to local storage, and share them via social media, text and email.
Hope this helps...
A:AnswerContact an electrician, Turn your power off, remove your outside porch light 115 vac unit. Have the ring hard wired by electrician to where your porch light previously mounted at your back door. They will not see any wires. I
A:AnswerI removed the cord from the camera. It’s not a big deal. You just need very small screwdriver. I used a knife. Then I drilled a half inch hole through the wall and fed it through from my basement. Then reattached it and attached camera to outside wall. But yes, if they notice that you opened it, it probably will void the warranty.
A:AnswerIt’s not suppose to be, but I did it and it works great! At first the tilt looks strange (like it’s pointed downward too much), but when you view the camera via the app, the picture looks perfect (not too tilted).
