A: Hi JWink. Thanks for asking. The Ring Stick Up Cam Pro comes in three different power variations: Stick Up Cam Pro Plug-In, Stick Up Cam Pro Solar, and Stick Up Cam Pro Battery. Each of them comes with their own power supply. All variations will work with a battery inserted. If you want to power your device using a solar panel and do not have an existing Ring Solar Panel you want to use, we recommend the Ring Stick Up Cam Pro Solar variation. The solar variation comes with the Ring 4W USB-C Solar Panel (2nd Gen) (packaged separately) and the Quick Release Battery Pack. In addition, the Super Solar Panel (5W) and the previous generation Solar Panel (2.4W) (sold separately) are also compatible with Stick Up Cam Pro with the purchase of a barrel plug to USB-C adapter. Q: Will this work threw a window looking outside?
A: Hi Dusty. Good question. Yes, however, you may need to disable night vision to avoid glare from the infrared light. The infrared light control is in your Ring app under Video Settings. Q: Is there an adapter so it can be mounted from the ceiling?
A: Yes you can mount it from the ceiling - just did that last night! There is a mount point on the back of the camera that you use for ceiling mounts.
