Featuring a FlexDuo design with 5.9 cu. ft. total capacity and 5 cooktop elements, this Samsung electric convection range makes it easy to prepare a variety of family-size meals. Steam Quick mode ensures simple cleanup.

Features a 2.7 cu. ft. upper oven and a 3.0 cu. ft. lower oven, along with 2 chrome racks and 7 rack positions to cook multiple dishes to accommodate a large number of family members or guests.
5 cooktop elements
Provide between 100 and 3000 watts of power to meet various cooking requirements.
2 dual elements
Include one 9"/12" element and one 6"/9" element for efficiency in the kitchen. A simmer burner provides a low heat setting to slowly heat food without scorching.
Convection oven
Circulates air throughout the oven for fast cook times and flavorful results.
Sabbath mode
Safely maintains a temperature for an extended period of time in order to comply with kosher cooking practices.

Two ovens actually are devided by a heavy divider but they each operate off of different fans. Heats up fast and seems to cook hotter than our precious. Over cooked a few meals so far. Takes some getting used to. As there is a learning curve for the different, bake, broil, convection settings timer does not automatically stop, you have to manually turn it off when it hits 0:00. The beeper just goes until you get up.

So far, we love this oven. Haven't run into any issues and have baked several items. Can't wait for the holidays to give it the real test!

Product is great. Best Buy installation left something to be desired. We were handed the manual and they left. Never leveled. No sample cleaner for cook top, no instructions of any kind. Thats what you get with free delivery/install I guess.

I have researched this product from Home Depot to Samsung and this is the only place the range is referred to as induction. Even is the description area there is no mention of it. Someone needs to check this product title and description for accuracy.

QuestionIs this really an induction range?Based on Samsung's website, it looks like this is a regular electric range, and not induction as this website indicates.

- Answer Thanks for bringing this to our attention. You're correct that this model does not have an induction cook top, but rather the NE595R1ABSR has 5 radiant cook top elements along with the Flex Duo oven. If you'd prefer to cook with induction, you may want to consider the NE595N0PBSR or NE597N0PBSR with the FlexZone elements, Warming Drawer and Glass Touch controls. Samsung also just introduced the Chef Collection line which includes the NE58H9970WS Slide-in Range featuring a full induction cook top with Virtual Flame Technology, Flex Duo oven, Guiding Light controls and many other premium upgrades. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionWhy does wall behind oven get too hot to touch when self cleaning oven?When I was using the self cleaning feature yesterday, the wall and the control panel of the oven became too hot to touch.

- Answer Thanks for the question. The self-cleaning feature on the NE595R1ABSR and many other ovens is designed to heat to a very high temperature (as high as 800°F in some models) in order to burn the grease and baked-on residue from the surface of the oven cavity. As stated on page 53 of the user manual, it isn't unusual for the outside of the range to get very hot, as well. Because of this surfaces that are in close proximity to the range may also get hot. It is recommended to use caution, keeping children and pets out of the kitchen during and immediately following the self-cleaning cycle. Please also note that birds can be especially sensitive to the fumes emitted during self-cleaning. While self-cleaning may be the best option for cleaning the oven if there are spills and grease spatters that have baked on over time, Samsung's Steam Cleaning feature is a great alternative to help clean up spills right after they happen, before they have a chance to get baked on. Steam Cleaning uses a much lower oven temperature (less than 200°F) combined with a small amount of water and a short 20 minute cycle. When it's done, just wipe it clean with a sponge. - Ms. Samsung
