Q: What size screws are needed for a wall mount.?
A: You technically need the same size screws but you want to use the spacers provided by Samsung on the top and bottom screw holes. The bottom spacers will be flush while the top spacers will stick out a ways. You want to use size M8 / 45 mm screws on both holes. The metal mount should not touch the back of the TV but touch the spacers. This is proper and correct for the nu8000 (65inch and probably the others). This is the CORRECT way and length. Don’t use other screw sizes without spacers.
Q: What is the box dimensions so I can make sure it will fit in my suv?
A: The box dimensions are (W x H x D) 63.7" x 38" x 7.2".
A: Use M8 / 45 mm screws on all 4 holes along with the provided spacers. The bottom spacers will be flush while the top spacers will stick out a ways, but this is expected to account for the curve at the top part of the TV. Q: HDR10 or Dolby Vision compatibility or nah?
A: HDR10 only. Possibly HDR10 Plus via firmware update in the future. No Dolby Vision on any Samsung TV. Samsung isn’t paying Dolby the license fee for it and they’re sticking with HDR10 open source.
Q: outside dimensions of a 65" tv.
A: It depends on the T.V. brand. Some screens have a border around them. I have a Samsung 65" T.V. The screen goes to the edge of the T.V. no border around it. Here are the measurements for this one. 65" is the screen size measured diagonally. the width is 57" and the height is 32 3/4 " and if you use the stand instead of wall mount. It will be 36" from your cabinet that it is sitting on to the top of the T.V.
A: You use all the provided spacers. The top spaces stick out more because the TV back is curved. It allows the mount arms to be level. You need M8 screws that are 43-45mm long, or use slightly longer ones with washers. All 4 holes use the same size screws.
