    Best budget phone for anyone!

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse has a great design and feature set you would expect to see on a far more pricey device. Its camera can take Point and shoot quality photos, and it also can take full HD videos. The 5-inch display is HD and LED, making viewing angles perfect for anyone. It also has a nice gloss and edge that makes it feel like a nicer phone. The J3 Eclipse is made for anyone from your children to your 70-year-old parents. It runs Android Nougat 7.0 OS (as of March 2018) which provides many software options and additional features. It packs a powerful all-day battery, giving you the power you need from home to work and back. All things said, the Galaxy J3 Eclipse is an outstanding device perfect for anyone that cannot afford a nicer phone such as a Galaxy S9 or iPhone 8. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone. I am in the process of making a YouTube review, so when I post it, I will include a link here as well.

I was looking for a phone to replace my previous device. With the way of having to either lease a phone over the course of a few years by adding a more money on your bill, spending out the rear end to buy an unactivated phone, or play a guessing game on whether or not an unlocked device will work with your plan, this phone is a great value. Yes, it's missing features like haptic feedback and has a questionable megapixel quality, but for the price is pretty good if you're looking for a starter phone, a inexpensive replacement, or a smartphone that won't break the bank, this is pretty good even if you buy the device without a plan.

I would call myself a Samsung fan. Especially when it comes to phones. I had the Galaxy 4, 6 and 8. When my 8 broke and i sent it to samsung to fix, t i needed something to hold me over. In comes the J3. For the price point of $160 it is an amazing phone. Great screen size, ram and various other specs. the camera wasn't the best but besides that, for under $200 i could do most of the activities i did with my S8. I would recommend this phone as a starter smart device,

I needed to get a new phone for my father-in-law, who isn't all that tech-savvy. The people at Best Buy recommended this phone, which is turns out is the same phone my father-in-law's girlfriend has (that way she can help him with it). Best Buy / Samsung also hold weekend classes for their phones, so he can get additional help there if he needs it. Seems like a good basic phone, nothing all that complicated or fancy. Just what he needs.

This phone is perfect for those who want to simplify without losing the smart phone capabilities, or as a starter smart phone. It's pretty basic, but functions very well. My only complaint (if that) is that the camera isn't as sensitive as I'm used to. Sometimes you have to press the button 3 or 4 times for it to take the picture. But the quality of the photo itself is good.

Honestly, there are better phones available. However, this is a great, basic phone perfect for anyone who doesn't need a top of the line device. I got three of these for my elderly parents and in-laws. By flagship phone standards, they are pretty middling. But for what my elderly family members need, they are great. Fast enough, lighty skinned Android phone with solid features and performance.

This is the worst phone I have ever had. I bought this phone because I needed a Verizon phone for work use going in/out of town, so I bought this. The colors are very nice for the screen, but the phone is extremely slow. It even took a longer than normal to make a phone call. Good I don’t have to go out of town anymore for work so I don’t have to use this phone. Don’t waste your money.

Picked up one of these for my 12 year old daughter who streams a lot of YouTube videos and music. She loves the phone, I added a memory card as well so she has tons of additional storage. Buy a protective case asap as they do not do well being dropped. Great phone for the money, quite inexpensive compared to most phones too.

Review: Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse for Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless sells the Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse, an entry-level device, for well under $200. This low-cost handset has a 5-inch screen, modern-ish design, and just enough of a spec sheet to keep things interesting. Here is Phone Scoop'sFull Review
