I was looking for a new phone for my son but did not want to spend alot of money to get him something. The Galaxy J7 is a fantastic phone, has a great camera, fast processor, quality screen and did not break the bank. I love the S series, but am considering moving my own phone to a new J7 since it is more affordable and you get almost all of the same bells and whistles as the S series.

If you are looking for a functional phone that gets the job done without a bloated price tag, the J7 is a great option for you. There are definitely bells and whistles missing in hardware and software, but not really things that are deal breakers, especially if you are on a budget. The biggest thing missing from the hardware is no flashing alert light on the front. That is something that I got used to, but again, not a deal breaker. The phone is still fast and does what I need for casual browsing, shopping, videos, etc.

This phone is great, it is exactly what someone needs unless you do over the top things with your phone. Personally I don't need to impress the person next to me, I want to receive calls, check messages send emails surf the web, when necessary. and have reliable communications. This phone does it all. So pay the extra month charge for your more expensive phone, me ? ,I'll use the extra cash per month I saved and use it to have some fun.

I got an upgrade from my old samsung Galaxy Core Prime. I am so happy that this new phone operates almost identically to what I was used to. It really shortened the learning curve. Very happy with the speed and quality of this phone. Your customer service associate, Jesus, was terrific and very patient with me. I did not feel rushed or oversold on anything.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3. So this phone is amazing for me. Does more than I'll ever need. Battery stays charged for days (I was charging twice a day). Pictures are awesome. Only thing I miss is the blinking light when there is a text, email or messenger.

I love my new Samsung Galaxy J7 V 2018 2nd generation phone. The camera takes excellent pictures that come out clear & sharp. I have more space then with my old phone which only had 8 gigabytes of space now I have 16. So far I'm happy with this very new phone that just came out 6/22/18.

Samsung delivers solid phones, and the android experience is similar to previous phones I have owned in the same bracket. The camera and screen resolution are not as high quality as the flagships Galaxy or Note models, but still take decent pictures and view content and video with no clarity issues and great color & brightness output. If they rolled out a custom android experience tailored to older generations with little to no technological savvy, would definitely earn a 5/5!
