Sandisk has some work to do

This unit has some firmware issues. If you switch from an audiobook to the radio and then back to the audiobook, the system does not "bookmark" your previous position. I have tried using both the "Books" and "Music" folders and when I return to these I find no "resume" function. I hope they generate a fix soon. I bought two of these next generation MP3 players. I have been using Sandisk since the M-Series. They have all performed great. Hope I can say the same about the Clip Sport.

If you just want some tunes while you exercise, you can't beat the Sansa Clip. It's lightweight, unobtrusive, holds a LOT of music, good sound quality, easy to use, good battery life, etc.
I see others wearing their clunky iPods and iPhones at the gym and feel a little sorry for them. They paid 10 X as much for something that slows them down or gets in the way.
I know they do more things but, come on, you're at the gym for what reason? to text your friends or work out?
Bought this one for a GF because she liked mine.

The sound quality is great and the interface is easy enough. With a 32GB card installed, it has loads of space for music and such. Very light and the clip on feature is great for on the go enjoyment.

A poor substitute for the earlier Sansa Fuse mp3 player, whose menu wheel was pleasant and intuitively simple to use. The Clip Sport screen is difficult to read, its buttons require pressure to get a response, and (unlike the old Fuse) it doesn't remember your place in a podcast or audiobook when you go away and come back to it. Moreover, there is no protected setting to prevent accidental shut-off during use. The overall tactile feel of the Sansa Clip Sport is "cheap." I regret buying it.

This MP3 player is easy to use and has a long battery life. Sound quality is very good and it will hold 1000's of songs. It's great for listening to music, stored books, podcasts or FM radio while out running at the beach or just when you want to shut out the world. Best of all, it's very inexpensive.

I spend a lot of time in my car for work and practically inhale audiobooks. I was using my Kindle to do this but its size is not as easy to throw into my tote bag. I was also worried it would get cracked if it fell in the car. I tried my Sony mp3 player but it isn't compatible with most audiobooks.
I bought this little device for $30 and I'm so glad I did. It sits nicely in a cupholder while I'm using it. It's SO simple to use with Audible. I spend literally a few minutes on Sundays loading it up, and that's it. Press "on" and "play" and you're good to go. I plug this in to my car speakers. It has a great sound. I can clip it to my waistband to keep listening while I take walks, and it's really lightweight.
I'm really computer-savvy but I don't want my hobbies to feel like work! I like simple electronic devices. It's supposed to be fun, not a chore. This little baby fits the bill; unlike my (other) mp3 player, which requires many steps to convert the files (& isn't compatible with Audible).
Received it within a few days of ordering and didn't even have to read the directions. Battery life is good.

I bought this Sandisc because it is small enough to fit in a waterproof case I have for beach use. Ii was so easy to use. Works well with Windows media player, this thing is so small yet holds 4 GB of music PLUS up to a 32 GB card. ALL MUSIC PLAYERS SHOULD LET YOU INSERT A CARD!.That is enough music for all summer! The head phones are ok, but I have better. It can read WAV file format,so I can listen to loseless music, which is a plus. I have a 16gb card I found in a run over cell phone! So I loaded over 30 of my favorite albums in LOSELSS format! It does have an upper volume limit so you can’t turn it up too loud. So it is not loud enough for some places I bike ride, maybe that is a good thing! Battery life is fine, went a week of hourly use before a recharge. Checked FM radio, works fine.
It is so light that I plan to keep it in the case for protection.

A:AnswerYes you can!
When you open the radio, press the bottom button. It'll bring up a menu with Add Preset, Auto Presets, View All Presets, and Recording. Scroll down to Recording and press the center button. Press it again on Record Now.
A:AnswerIf you use the player regularly and the earphone connector gets yanked out it can damage the contacts and may only work on the one side. You might also try your headphones on another device to make sure that isn't the problem, and lastly make sure the headphones are able to push in all the way, some are slightly angled and that bit of plastic may need to be filed down. As for the radio push left or right to the radio tab and push the middle button. use the left or right (station up or down respectively). The receiver is not of great quality so if you are indoors you may not get a good signal. I work in a warehouse and because of the metal I don't get a signal at all.
