First of all, this thing is small. Super small. When plugged into the 3.0 port on my tower, the semi circular end sticks out maybe 1/4 inch. Great for a laptop I would imagine. Secondly, I bought this to backup photos from my Macbook Pro.(network sharing makes this very easy) It was formatted FAT32(I believe) and initially I wasn't able to download pictures to it. FAT32 has an 8GB max file transfer limit, and my transfer was much larger than that. What I did(Windows 10 by the way) was to create a new folder on my desktop, drag and drop contents of the drive to that folder, and then reformat as NTFS. That way I saved what was sent with the drive(in case I needed it in the future) as reformatting the USB will wipe it of all content. This review is obviously for people like me who aren't IT professionals, but like to learn how things work. Once reformatted, the transfer went off without a hitch. Some reviews mentioned this thing getting hot. It's been running for about an hour now(58GB is the total transfer) and it's about 40% done. The USB is slightly warm at most. Overall, very impressed with this product. It's working perfectly for my needs, and easily adds 128GB of storage space to my desktop by utilizing the 3.0 USB port. Got it on sale for $30, and in my opinion, that was money well spent.

I have a 64GB drive just like this one. Is great size and great speed when I need to transfer files. I got a great deal on the 128GB and works as great as the other one. I strongly recommend it to any one.

I got this usb to use it as my main "hard drive" since the SSD on my mac air 2014 quit. I just installed Mac OS X in it and it's been working greatly since then (2 months or so ago). The size (it has to be plugged in all the time) and the speed (3.0) allow me to keep running everything I did before. Note that the speed won't be as fast as the SSD but it's good enough even when running scripts or compiling code for class.

Customers appreciate the Ultra Fit 128GB USB 3.0 Type A Flash Drive's small size, large storage capacity, and ease of use, frequently citing it as a good value for the price. Many also highlight the fast transfer speeds enabled by the USB 3.0 interface. However, some users noted that the drive can get warm during use, and a few mentioned minor design concerns regarding the protective cap. Overall, the positive feedback on storage and speed outweighs the negative comments on heat and design.
