I ordered this TV stand because I liked the look of it online. The first TV stand was badly damaged on the top. A huge chunk of wood was missing from the top surface and there were scratches on the side of the top piece. I called Best Buy and asked if I could just get a new top piece. I didn't want to repackage and move the 93 pound TV stand. They said that I had to return the entire TV stand. When I went to the store, I was told that I couldn't get a refund that day because it was an online order so I have to wait 24 hours. The person on the phone could have told me that. The salesperson said that I would have to bring it back the next day. I asked to speak to a manager who filled out a form to do an offline refund the next day so that I wouldn't have to make another trip to the store. It took two days for the money to be back in my account.
I ordered the same TV stand again thinking that it couldn't possibly happen twice, but it did. On the top surface, there are two scratches. I didn't want to have to deal with the whole process again, so I decided to keep it and cover the scratches with a decoration. I'm very disappointed that my NEW TV stand has scratches on it, but I don't want to deal with Best Buy's terrible customer service again.
