Skelly

Would highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This skelly is awesome! He talks, moves his head and has LED eyes. He is made by the same company of the 12’ skeleton. For the price of the 12’, all these features should have also come with him. If I had to choose, definitely snatch this one up over the 12’ or get both. They did a fantastic job!

Absolutely Awesome!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Grabbed him when he was on sale. Skeleton is large but very easy to assembly. Sayings are cute and he seems to be sturdy. The kids in the area love him...so do the adults for that matter. Super happy with him.

Great value + lowest on best buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Firs I was very surprised to see that Best Buy offer Halloween skeleton. And I realized that Best Buy offers a lowest price for 8 Ft Skelton, everywhere else is $300+ and it was very hard to find a 8 ft skeleton under $200. The quality is not super good as you can tell the material is pretty rough and the skeleton is not super sturdy as the whole weight is on his two feet and there’s not extra string to hold the weight. However it’s great value and it did its work. It’s a lot of fun to decorate it with light bulb and some other decors. Definitely worth purchasing. I tried the motion and talking inside the house it’s very sick. I haven’t tried plugging the power outside but I may try it soon. Strongly recommend

I got no bones to pick with this bad boy!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.12 foot skellys are ridiculously impossible to find. Found this 8 footer while searching for alternatives. It was so nice I bought it twice! Very happy with this purchase. Not truly meant to stay outdoors in the elements though. If you must consider placing them somewhere with overhead cover (like a porch). The added talking functionality on these is a nice touch too. If needed, shutting off the talking feature is simple. Just unplug the white connector that goes from the top of the spine to the skull, and turn down the volume.

Worth it when on sale
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was pretty easy; only one allen wrench required and it's included. Great there's a volume adjustment and different trigger options for activating eyes and sound (always on, infrared to 6 feet, or step pad [not included]). There are some gaps by the knees, but not woefully unsightly. Would be absolutely amazing to swap audio options to include other voice tracks, but not possibly. Included audio tracks are family friendly, so okay around littles. Could be fun to decorate for other holidays too.

Q: QuestionWasn't this $100 less a few days ago?
Asked by Salem.
- A:Answer Yes, I think it was in a Labor Day sale for $279

Q: QuestionPlease put this back on sale. Although it’s really cool. It’s not worth $349. Depot you can get a 12 foot version for 299.
Asked by Awesome.
- A:Answer HD is constantly sold out. People are buying them and reselling for 3-4× the price. I'd buy this one if you have the chance. Not likely to find a 12ft one less than $400.

Q: QuestionHas anyone got this wet? What happens? If you can’t get it wet, is it easy to move? Would a tarp do the trick?
Asked by Halloweencrazy.
- A:Answer We’ve had ours less than a week, it rained the past two days and it no longer works. So apparently not for truly outdoors. Ours is partially under cover (the plug in area is under cover) but lots of moisture was evident anyway). Very disappointing. We have a ton of similar Halloween things always left in the elements under no cover and they have continued to work for years.

Q: QuestionIs he a REAL outdoor (waterproof) decoration? Or is he "outdoor" but under cover area ONLY? Meaning he really can NOT get wet.
Asked by Corrin07.
- A:Answer I wouldn’t get him wet - putting him on my big porch - electronics in his head and light up eyes and jaw moved.

Q: QuestionCan we please get a video? The big seller is the moving jaw. It’d be nice to see it moving. Thanks

Q: QuestionCan skeleton be positioned to sit down on a chair?
Asked by Dori.
- A:Answer Nope, the only part that is able to be positioned are the arms and they only can be moved up or down.

Q: QuestionCan you turn off the sound and keep the eyes on?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, volume knob on rear. The jaw will keep moving which is stupid. Add a switch to deactivate jaw by opening up the head. I ran the switch wires down to his rear where I have a switch. Now he looks cool with the LCD eyes on and is quiet!!! ahhhh so much better to have options. If you take this on, knowing how to solder is important for longevity of the tweak. I used shrink-tubing over my soldering to preserve things since it's outside. You can use electricians tape but shrink tubing is just cleaner. You'll run wires out where the head mounts. I bought some small connectors where I can disconnect the wires to remove head. I then added another set of connectors and long wire running down his spine. Essentially, anywhere the body disconnects, you'll need to also have a connector so it can still be taken apart easily. I drilled a hole in the rear hips to mount the switch. Took a couple of hours to dial everything in and it works great.
