Shut out the world and immerse yourself in music with these comfortable Sennheiser wireless headphones. Their Bluetooth capability lets you stream from a smartphone or tablet, and their noise-cancelling technology blocks environmental sounds from interfering with your experience. These Sennheiser wireless headphones include integrated microphones so you can use them for cell phone calls.
A: There is a weird quirk with the cable that they don't call out to enough in their instructions. Look at the end that should connect to the headphones. You will see that there are nubs for locking in the headphone end. You may need to rotate the headphone-side part of the cable while pushing in until you can feel it go deeper. You can then try rotating more, potentially in both directions to get the right one, and it should lock. The strange thing is that the headphones will recognize you have jacked in the cable even when they haven't reached maximum depth for locking in. It'll still disable all the wireless things like turning on of the headphones and the sound buttons even when the headphones are essentially unusable. I was so convinced I had a defective product that I ended up foolishly exchanging mine. Some articles that I hadn't found in my first search pointed me the right way. Hopefully that helps. If Sennheiser reads this, make your start-up instructions for plug-in vs. bluetooth clearer. Putting the lock-in instructions off to an easily dismissed corner will cause a lot of grief and hurt your brand when they think the headphones don't work for cable.
Q: If the headphone run out of the battery, can I still use it while charging it?
A: When charging the Bluetooth turns off but they still work with the audio cable. Seems an odd design decision to turn Bluetooth off when you have external power but that's how they are. I used them on a flight across the pacific for 13 hours both on battery and while charging.
Q: How do I connect them to iPad Pro.. It's not showing Sennheiser in blue tooth.
A: Try setting the headphones to pairing mode: 1) Turn off headphones 2) Hold the power button for 5-10 seconds until the light alternates between blue and red (the headphones are now in pairing mode) 3) Go to the bluetooth settings on your ipad to connect
Q: Are the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC headphones compatible with PlayStation 4 ?
A: In short, no. When connected to the PS4 controller via the aux cable, they are not detected as either a microphone or alternate audio output source. The headphones suspend button functions while hardwired as part of the design so these are not really a gaming option. Better off using these as part of a home theatre solution
Q: I like to connect to a TV. Will that be possible and advised
A: Yes, very possible. You will need a Bluetooth transmitter if your TV does not have functionality built in. I'm using an Avantree Priva III. Works great.
Q: Can they still be used when charging? I have a series of long flights and do not want them to die.
A: Cannot play while charging but battery lasts more than 24 hours and charges fast, so you may manage between flights with an external battery.
Q: Hi i was just wondering if the sennheiser headphones mic work during gaming.
A: It doesn't work on ps4 via the original cable connected to a controller. It does however work on phone and pc as far as I can tell.
Q: Is the bluetooth off when using the cable? Can one turn it off, or is it always on?
A: if you plug in the cable it recognizes the connection and turns off the Bluetooth
