Great Product with one Glaring flaw

In every other way, this is a great product at this price. I have been struggling with an alarm with an analog tuner for years, and I bought this product to get the digital tuner. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY - BY DESIGN - THE ALARM MUSIC COMES ON AT A VERY HIGH DECIBLE LEVEL WHICH CANNOT BE ALTERED.
